yeah but I only listen to radio while driving, scored 20gig of mp3 from a flat mate years ago, full of the good stuff, n the funny stuff.

sounds like a sick kokopu or just one with a personality disorder the inanga and banded kokopu are not very shy around Tauranga

how is death metal bland and generic???, its one of those areas whee a bit of creativity still abounds. even the Rock we are getting is getting generic (the latest one by Grinspoon for example) and purely $$$ based.

I've successfully used limestone chip to raise the pH and hardness, a few chunks hidden behind the driftwood can help buffer the tank as well

i'd be a bit iffy about using an oil based treatment with fry that need to fill their air bladder from the surface at some point

Its the brown foamy stuff in the betting section at the pub I'd hunt up some coral or limestone chip for your filter to buffer it, may make it rise a bit higher though but normally quite slowly

idea is to have 2 tanks with a small sump in between, have a pump on a timer that slowly empties out one tank 3/4 of the way into the other tank through the sump. have one side as a mudflat (with my Favinogobius) and the other as a rocky shore with some triplefins. my dad designs electronics so he should be able to rig me up a timer system
