  1. I got a 200L tub from the Warehouse for my daughter's toys. It's big enough to fit her inside it, and she's six. I doubt your large fish will have a problem with it, if it's only temporary. Worse case scenario, buy a few.
  2. It may be connected to the LAN but not the internet. Are any other devices on the LAN having the same issue?
  3. Just to confirm... You have a modem-router, and you bought a router. You plan on connecting the router to the modem wirelessly. You have entered the SSID of the modem into the router, but it isn't connecting. Why are you not just connecting your devices to your original modem-router?
  4. Try Firefox. A lot less issues, and you can use Advert Blockers I could've given it to you on a pen-drive, OR you could get Orcon. 30G a month for only $75, including VOIP with free local calls.
  5. There's my problem. I don't bother learning Goldfish. I have enough difficulty remembering tropical fish, and plants... :nilly:
  6. I'm sorry, I wasn't paying much attention. What's the other fish other than the angels? Just because I can't see a filter doesn't mean it's not there. My issue with this tank is the depth (not height). The other issues could simply be my own ignorance? :dunno:
  7. I'm only running integrated sound card and it works fine. May just need to make sure that you have a decent graphics card. Nvidia IMHO.
  8. Please note that HDMI will carry both sound and video.
  9. This is where you use a audio cable to connect your computer's sound card to your TV's speakers. It turns up after you plug in your TV. It uses your TV as another monitor. It's new enough if it has HDMI. Does your computer have an HDMI output?
  10. All my BN in my display tank (1200 x 500 Footprint) have had to be removed because they keep attacking the Pleco (Only 5cm, atm)
  11. I'm getting there, just not there YET
  12. Do you mean the waterline? How low do you normally have it? I would have thought that the plants would be helping with the Ammonia... How big are your bristlenose?
  13. I didn't know you could lose it :dunno:
  14. Don't see the specialist at the pet store. Your condition will only get worse :slfg:
  15. I would think that 25% /week would be fine, but it's definitely better to over filtrate.
  16. How to make a small fortune? Start with a large one.
  17. There have been people asking this quite a bit. Here's a link to a previous thread. http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=47151
  18. I have lost a Betta before also. He's the one in my pic to the left. These guys are very responsive to ammonia. It wouldn't take much of a spike to affect them. Sorry for your loss.
  19. Invest in some 6-plugs? Only 8 throughout the house seems incredibly low
  20. Food. Such an interesting word. Food.
  21. Hey all, I've been looking into pressurised CO2, and MAY have found a way to get a system set up as cheap as $80. ($105 if you incl the solenoid.) Paint ball cylinder, 12oz: $35 from Paintballstuff.co.nz Found a regulator on eBay that SHOULD work, (but I would love some feedback on this): $23.99 USD Found a 3 in 1 diffuser, bubble counter, and check valve. $10.76 USD Found a solenoid, but this is a night time turn off thing, I think... $21.29 USD I would love some feedback from those who are more familiar with CO2 set ups.
  22. This would be excellent. You can set them to different timers. bulb one: 10am-8pm, bulb two: 12pm-6pm.
