  1. Yes you're right. Not a chromis but a chrysiptera parasema and yes, they can be territorial. Not easy in your tank cause they need a bigger volume. Thanks for the link, I got the english names now Oh I'm fond of gobbies ! Could you tell me how much they cost in NZ ?
  2. Exactly Caryl (if one day I come in NZ, would you give me please some english courses ? You exactly expressed what I got in my mind last night. Not kidding, I mean it ) V shape will open the view. It's like a pass between two mountain peaks. When we built an aquascape, we just have to watch carefully mother nature, because there's nothing new under the sun Something like this, Fordayzbro
  3. What a good job ! Very nice Spoon. I'm not sure about the fish you choose... Chromis viridis and amphiprions doesn't appreciate to be alone. Chromis viridis need about 200 liters and it's better to put several of them in one time.
  4. Nice choice of plants and they seem healthy What do you think about inverting both of rocks ? Keep them in the same positionning but drop the right one on the left side and the left one on the right side. In order to open the perspective.
  5. Love owls Hate that kinda shows  Same thing with dolphins and orcas in concrete pools just for entertain people... as if they were just made for.
  6. Wow ! Panoramic is my favourite Well done Supasi, you succeeded to render the different levels of depth and the warm shades lead us to a quietful feeling.
  7. That's the point. Europeans cows eat brazilian soya. This is just insane... We all know about BP disaster. But how many have been told about 60 years of oil slicks in the Amazon ?... They turned it into a giant sewer. They burned oil wastes without any precautions, poisonning atmosphere, creating black rains. Ok. We can say : Amazon is a so wild area, a thick native forest. It must be damn hard to keep a check on the installations. We had an oil slick in France, one year ago. Not in the sea, not in the ocean, not on the coasts but right in the middle of a protected land, the last half arid steppe down here. Yep. Because of a pipeline leak they don't even notice. Four millions liters of oil, a two meters rip in a pipeline which produced a four meters high geyser of oil and the company didn't even notice it. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xa3e29_fuite-de-petrole-dans-une-reserve-n_news Guess what. One year after this disaster, the area is still contamined. They tried to unpollute it. But they failed. So you can imagine what happens daily in the rainforest.
  8. This is so incredible and beautiful... Thanks for sharing !
  9. Clever New Caledonian crows go to parents' tool school "Young New Caledonian crows learn to use tools by going to "tool-school", where they can observe their parents at work. (...) Earlier this year, scientists at the Department of Psychology at the University of Auckland, New Zealand discovered that the birds were able to use three tools in succession to reach some food. " (BBC Earth News) - Article on BBC website + vid showing how a crow uses tools - Department of Psychology, the University of Auckland - Homepage + many vids about this research
