where abouts do you get these cysts? do they sell them from the lake?

would a vet desex a possum? i had a friend that had a pet possum, his job? he worked as a possum trapper, setting gin traps and clearing them. his reasoning for a pet possum was that he started to get incensitive to small furry things.

yea ive had MTS for a while now, just not big tanks, i was living in a barrack room with about 8 2 foot tanks, it left me no room for my tv and computer, only a bed and a fridge for the fish food. at the moment i have 8, with one on a pallet to make water changes that little bit easier. and ive only got 8 tanks in blenheim because thats all that fit in the car when i moved here. to make things worse/better im buying 15 of the above mentioned tanks as soon as i get to auckland. i think i qualify for the sickness benafit if you ask me becouse its progressing rapidly

how many years are we talking untill theyr at their 5-6 inch mark? and how old until they start breeding?

im getting some tanks from spangela, 164 litre, 1000mm X 400mm X 410mm, how many fully grown guys would be comfterable in that? i was thinking of 1 male and 2-3 females

is it a good idea having koi carp in there? i allso heard rumours that theres turtles in there too, not shure how true it is though

yea chickens would be awsome! and your helping to reduce your carbon footprint and all the greeny stuff. and if you get too many eggs you can allways give them to family and friends. just the roosters are annoying, ive got a few houses around my neighbourhood with roosters

good point, my guess by looking at the pictures is that they are for emptying water from the tanks for a water change, but still need to be filled up by a bucket/hose.

just been searching online about Aulonocara baenschi and jacobfreibergi and its saying that they need a minimum tank size of 170 litres. but is this size for just the one fish or for a group of say 3-4? im thinking of getting a breeding group of one of these after my big move to auckland

for the acrylic glue you can allways try a model shop if you only need a small amount, they call it plastic cement and it joins real good. i use it for my plastic models. the tamia one even comes with a nice little brush to paint the glue on. looks like this http://www.hobbylinc.com/gr/tam/tam87012.jpg

had a similar problem as you and added a few clown loaches and theyre controlling the snail population from hundreds to just a few.

in your case i would highly recomend doing the cinderblock stand, i found it great and you could even have custom shelving! it just looks ugly compared to a nice wooden one but thats what the bed sheet was for. its even got space to hold a sump (if used and mums has a cannister filter fitted) i could try to draw up a 'how to' for one if you want to go down that track or atleast give you dimentions and details for what i did, possible change it for you. with the roughness issue you could try a diffrent hardware store or stack the bricks so that you could see the holes.
