  3. an insulated cupboard heated by a 100W incandescent bulb should do the trick. add/ remove vents or change the light bulb wattage to adjust the temp

  5. did anyone else notice that when they got out of the car there was magically twice as much water in the bowl than only seconds earlier in the clip? But yes very nice video otherwise.
  6. aw yea it took me a bit to realise your talking about the one just outside Turangi. Was there last weekend, a really great job was done setting that up. All the natives were relativly easy to spotin there too. One thing was that the perch (or was it tench?) and koi didnt look quite right, maybe it was atchally seeing koi from the side rather than the top.
  7. Last time i was at ryans i saw a large container on his lawn, i think it was 20ft x 8ftx 8.5ft big enough?
  8. my advice is dont listen to ryan! Patch should work. keen everything clean as possible and ive heard that new silicone dosent stick well to old silicone Idealy a new base would be nice and wouldnt be that expensive.
  9. i wouldnt bother with te reo, i would go straight to mandarin, tongan or samoan.
  10. i thought as much. Alanmin, do you have some sort of link that comfirms and possibly a reason as to why? It just seems kinda odd that an axolottyl (sp?) would be fine, but the same species in a diffrent stage would not. Ps, im not doing this myself, its just a rather nice looking golden 'SALAMANDA' appeared for sale and got me thinking
  11. arnt these an unwanted organism in NZ?
  12. it would of been best if you came out with your questions about recruitment as someone may of already been through the process. if your just asking if theres cops who frequent the FNZAS forums it seems suspect. like your checking the coast is clear before you start bragging about your pitbulls fighting with your water dragons or other such dodgyness
  13. but if you know that they are not in the country, then why ask if they are? :dunno:
  14. yea it was strange having an empty tank in your lounge Ryan. surprised you didnt put some giraffes in there!
  15. looks like 10mm is still good with a saftey factor of 2ish. You could always drop the height a little, 20-18inch?
  16. I thought that the 12th in the email sounded a little off, So 13th it is?
  17. yup, and a 2k excess if my car gets stolen (also s14, most stolen car in the AA books last year and the year before....)
  18. Well hopefuly you got her numberplate, name and phone number. She needs to lodge a claim with the insurance company and give you a refrence number. You ring her insurance company with ref number and arrange a time and workshop/s to repair it. Rember that it is the insurance company that is paying for the job so try not to get the repairs done at a dodgy backyard shop. All in all there should be no cost to you, except maybe some time without a car so get a courtesy car or ask for a rental car during that time.
