Well im doing a course at the moment about comms and me or the instructer cant figure out how HF radio waves can refract fully in the ionosphere. i can understand how when it goes up it gets refracted part of the way to earth (till its parallel to the earth becouse as an increase in height has more electrically dence ions) but as it comes back towards the earth shouldnt it stay up there as a decrease in altitude makes the ions less? any easy way of explaining why this happens?

im really shocked that the lawyer would tell him to plead guilty, thats pritty bad. i would go with the not guilty card and wave it as much as i can. its pritty bad how the public justice system works how it takes so unbeliveably long to process and could end up in a cell for weeks while you wait for the paperwork to go through.

what do you use to catch them? wouldnt mind going down to taylor dam and having a bit of a fish

ha i found that out last nite, i had a cosmo 3500f 2300l/h filter in a 2ft tank to quickly polish the water for me, overnite the temp was about 35deg c, and no there wasnt any fish in there

will the female look alot thinner aswell?

well theyve been in there for 2 days now, the females is still fat, what am i looking for with regards to the eggs,? and ive got 2 females and one male, and only 1 of each in the breeding tank, the peat hasnt seemed to change the colour of the water at all though... so im gonna take them out and put them back into the display tank, and put the peat into a power filter. ill try post a photo later to show how the tank is set up.

Im looking at giving a go at breeding glolights, i currently have them in a 2ft tank with a male and female, javamoss , an artificial spawning mop and a mature bubble filter with some fresh peat moss added to it, just wondering if you guys have any tips to get them breeding, the tank is also covered in cardboard to block the light.

I second this, when i was at primary school they had a banking programme that every week you would bring along 50cents and put it into your newly opened bank account. then your money goes away to the bank and you got a new line printed in your bank book saying that you got more money! i was dissapointed to know that the same school 10 years later isnt doing it anymore

yea ive got a .22 but dont get the full use out of it, mainly use it to shoot cans, empty ones ofcourse lol (emptied the day before not during shooting i might add)

i havnt heard of airsoft taking off in nz but i do know of some clubs that 'play' RAM (real action marker) i had a guy try talk me into comeing along to a meeting but got a bit scared off. if i rember rightly the projectiles are the same size as a paintball, go twice as fast, and is made from rubber. they dress up in full kit much like what you see on computer games like counter strike.

i used cinder blocks similar in the way caroyl did, except i used some timber i found under the house and used that as the top and i had another layer of wood between the bricks to use as a shelf, havnt got any pics of it though

the platnums are the white ones rite? i got a female one from the LFS from pukekohe, was a nice white when i got it but not its head has started to go redish, kinda like bruising.

if any flow rates are uneven you could have a tap to each tank to control the rate of flow to each tank, that way if you want to increase the % water change you can just turn the tap on or off more.
