  1. Cause if you kept track of how much you've spent you'd be horrified into giving it up.
  2. You wish your back yard was flooded 30 feet deep?
  3. Oops. Probably. Being poisoned to death tends to be relatively upsetting. Whether or not they'll die depends on the exact dosages and their specific resistance. But copper is toxic to basically all invertebrates.
  4. They look cooler morphed. Not the ugly white and albino ones though. Bleah. Anyone have a link to anything official saying that morphed axolotls are an unwanted organism? Because none of the variations of their name, species, genus, etc that I can think of is listed on maf's unwanted organism register or has any hits on google. In fact, most of the hits are a couple fishroom posts from people saying they're unwanted. Kind of circular.
  5. Severums might do the job too.
  6. They're just a standard lead acid battery. Throw a car battery charger on it if you want.
  7. Those aren't trails, those are poop.
  8. Two eheim 2006s won't be enough, they're only good for about 30 liters tanks. I'd go for the FX-5. Unless you had some other eheim in mind? :slfg: Seriously, though. Assuming similar total flow rates and price I'd go for two filters rather than just one. And you can throw powerheads in if you want more current.

    RODI unit

That's just a cartridge change anyway, getting the housings is really the important part, not really so much the expendables inside them.

    RODI unit

The second definitely looks like the better of the two... The first from the description and the pic it LOOKS like it has an RO, but then it says 1 sediment filter and 2 carbon filters. Unless that "Post carbon filter" is an RO.
  11. That's where the sternholes are.
  12. I just need to buy some more ammo then I'll be ready! Used up the last of it yesterday.
  13. You got it off the internet so it must be true. :sml2:
  14. More like a passive sonar or ears, they sense mechanical vibrations and pressure waves in the water. Radar actively transmits and detects electromagnetic radiation. :smln: :slfg:
  15. Chainsaw allows them to get within biting range and would scatter huge amounts of zombifying blood and chunks all over you. Also same noise issue as guns.
  16. Doesn't do much good linking to a pic in a private album. :slfg:
  17. That holiday where fat little greedy hoodlums wander the streets wearing disguises to avoid identification while harassing good law abiding people and threatening them and their property if they're not paid off? Nope, don't know it.
  18. Harvesting now, not planting? Everything I can see says plant them mid spring.

    Cheap pond?

Probably worth paying the extra money for the stronger, thicker liner if you're not going to put a lot of work into properly preparing the base for the pond.
  20. A mini pumpkin. :slfg: Got it from one of wifey's coworkers. Looks like http://www.gstuff.co.nz sells seeds for them too. http://gstuff.co.nz/shop/garden/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5_32&products_id=386&zenid=62731e91ff1c0634b9a4fa19976767df
  21. I planted 20 or so pumpkins, mini pumpkins and gherkins over the weekend. Monday night frost killed them all. Have to reload my seed tray and try again in a couple weeks.
  22. We can't have a zombie uprising yet! I don't have a good zombie gun!
  23. Same. I've had the filters off for a day or two, 18 hours, a couple hours, no problems. And then it was off for 4-5 hours one time and about 30 fish(About 3/4 of the tank) were dead the next morning. So now if the power is off for more than an hour I give the filter a quick rinse after the power comes back on.
  24. I'd just pop the tops off them while doing the work and then drain the water out just before refilling and reconnecting everything. Should be fine.
