You could still plumb them into teh overflows. I have a sump in my lounge and it runs a little noisy but worth it happy for you to have a look if you want

In my 6 x 2 x2 my spray bar comes in at one end and runs the length of the tank at the bottom. this is behind and under my rock work and it pushes water slightly up and towards the front I have anti syphon measures in place as I am running of a sump but not needed if you use canister. I find that the gravel at the front gets the most detritus forming but that is where I want it so I can easily remove it And as the water is movingup and torwards the overflows this is minimal anyway If you heater is going in teh middle then you can put this lower in teh tank and you will also have more movement over teh heater making it more effective? Yesterday I had a spawn of S Panamense. Thsi is second spawn form a young pair of imported fish. Have removed them this time as they hatched and I lost the last lot. Will try the tried and true bubbles and meth blue but not holding my breath. A work in progress and sorry no pics Any advice as cats are not really my thing but does tye in with another GBA spawn a few weeks ago...lol...just need to get the corries going

It doesnt quite work like that chaps if natives go off shore then they cant be brought back and no off shore animals can come into a breeding population unless it has the same collection point and many overseas collections of NZ natives dont have that listed. Teseting is horrendos if they do come back...lol

NIce pics of nice fish the parents of these fish looked very much the same but threw a bit of variety in the offspring by looking at the various fish that are around. that is why we have taken to calling them wild kribs or P taenatus (sp) tank bred. You could try blassari (sp) or maybe even pontifolia but thats not really a crypt i dont think balanese crpyt comes in a coluple of different forms but should be about as big as they get i think?
