  1. If you are a good driver then find out the cost of 3rd party fire and theft.
  2. What exactly do you have in your fishless tank ? Where does your water supply come from ? What filtration are you using ?
  3. I have a Sony camera and underwater case would you like to borrow it, free of charge.
  4. What is an x-linked swordtail guppy please?
  5. The best lawnmowers in the world in my opinion are Walker.
  6. Fancy guppies are normally distinquished by their large tail shape and size. Wild guppies (endlers) tend to have more body colour and smaller less coloured tails, they also seem to be much quicker.
  7. Yes it could possibly be an epidemic! I have similar problems and I have thousands of the little blighters. However I have found by improving water quality The problem has become less of a problem ( still not totally sorted ) but working on the issue in hand.
  8. Do they somtimes get pink/red behind the gills?
  9. I have had exactly the same problem from day 1 with Vista . My wife opens my attachments on her computer which does not have Vista. My computer guy told me it is a conflict with the anti virus programs and Vista.
  10. Plecs sometimes latch onto the side of discus damaging the mucus which kills the fish. Depending on what type of pleco you have would give indication to value, but the combined value of your discus I suspect would be far greater and therefore IMO the pleco is probably of little value in contrast.
  11. I have 204's/304's/404's and CF1200's but must agree with Ira about the CF 1200's.
  12. COME ON SARAH, you are married to CHRIS not Wok. You cannot possibly be first.
  13. FX5 DIAMETER: 400 , HEIGHT 550. IMO a good height for tank would be 1 metre which would give plenty of room for access.
  14. If you guys need some live food I can supply gupp'ies at resonable cost.
  15. I have lots of guppies and this problem reared it's ugly head with me. Although I do not think I have totally conquered the issue in hand I find that regular water changes has definitely helped to the point where my losses are minimal.
  16. I have a lot of guppies and have had lots of problems. Not the same symptoms as yours but probs. none the less. I find that guppies are not as indistructable as they used to be and water changes are very important. ( I thought they bred in toilet water).
  17. I would still reccomend at least 30% weekly.
  18. It could be a combination of things which are not always easy to find. Regular water changes would go a long way to sorting your problem. Tap water is usually around Ph7 -7.2 which would be much better for your fish.
  19. I use SERA and JBL test kits. Formula is 1 drop = 1* (German scale) maybe you are using a different scale. Even so your Ph is too high for the fish you keep. IMO. How often do you do water changes ?
  20. Sounds like ppm which would give dh of 6. What did you use to get a KH reading of 80?
