  1. I think he starts selling again on Trademe. the price is reasonable - $5.00 per rummy... however, he wouldn't ship :( Oh well.. I think I just need to save up to buy more rummy.. sighhhh
  2. Thanks heaps !! excellent article but it seems like I can't really breed them at my home as I don't have the space for the breeding tank..... emmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm do you know any local breeders that sell slightly cheaper than the shops?
  3. Hi all, I would like to ask how to breed rummy noses? any tips and tricks?
  4. that's a pretty cool set up !!! pity that that wood doesn't suit aquarium environment.. (Sorry for such late response.. I have been super busy with my garden these days )
  5. Nice website !! emm.. I am not too sure about the Corokia.. still quite keen to put it in my tank.. I have asked my friend to get me some gorse and I will keep you guys posted ! P44 - any pic of the nicest wood
  6. Thanks for your reply.... the little native bush = Corokia??
  7. really?? Gorse root?! but can you just dig up the gorse in the middle of nowhere? Can someone please confirm/let me know that is boiling a MUST requirement to turn normal wood into drift wood??
  8. but is it true that to turn the dried branches to drift wood, you MUST boil it?
  9. Thanks for the feedback... I will keep on my wood hunting !! I just think it will be a cool project
  10. oh my god !! that tank is awesome looking... I bought this from Mitre 10 this morning I am just wondering whether I can turn this into a moss tree ! Should I boil it then sun dry?
  11. Hi there - I bought a bonsai like Corokia and planning to turn that into a chrimstas moss tree. Is it appropriate? I know that pine is not an appropriate drift wood material, but what about corokia? I want to do something like this?? http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/f6/co ... 50300.html
  12. it's just really sad to see all the very fancy guppies died >.< I have set up a 20L tank and that will be my quarantine tank until everything settled down... how many guppies can I fit in a 20L tank, also, do i need a filter?? or can I get away with the sponge filter?
  13. Thanks - the last infected fish RIP this morning and all of my guppies are looking fine at the moment.. it's just very, very weird !
  14. I never use Furan before and from what I read on the net, it's pretty strong stuff... so better to isolate the fish in a smaller tank before treatment?
  15. I took a picture of the infected guppy - 5 guppies developed this fin shredding business within 2 hours hitting the tank but now all of my guppies are fine now......which is very odd !
