  1. Yeah the majority of africans would grow too large for 125L or at least tank is too small to keep many. Nice dwarf flags live well together, they are just gorgeous... JAT
  2. Are you wanting to go African Rozski.. there are some fantastic little Dwarf Cichlids from the Americas that will go nicely in a tank that size.... and it can be planted aswell :lol:
  3. We use the buffer recipe from the cichlid forum for some of our rift lake tanks... And of course add accordingly doing water changes.. right amounts measured.
  4. I buy the Tui brand from nearest garden store, they often have Epsom Salts 8)

Look dead on to me in alot of ways, however, loved the part about the housed with corydoras... NOT!! Not sure that second linked site has done their homework in regards to the tank mates :lol: Mine would mow Corys down like nobodies :lol: I will get on to putting some pics up of the ones here.... club meeting soonish so have a bit to do before then.

Ooooooooooooooo that Chocolate Self Saucing Pud is my fav of all time With French Vanilla Ice Cream melted on top And the good old Creamed Rice Pudding (with sultanas optional) that us as kids were brought up on, most nights after dinner, on a cold winters night.. mmmmmmm Oh and a spoonful of Raspberry Jam thrown in the middle to melt down.... if you felt the need...

  11. i used to have some large Red Tail Botias, they get pretty large but no where near as large as the Clowns... still they get to a nice chunky robust size 8)

I am not a winter person... I was bred for desert type conditions I have decided :roll: And need to be laying flat out on a hot rock at the moment. Hot thick Pumpkin Soup with toasted French Stick or a nice Beef Stew or Beef Stoganoff... mmmmmmm

  20. We are starting a largish cold water marine later on the year, currently have a little set up of tidal creatures, just as a holding tank till later down the track... Here are some pics of what we have so far.. however, haven't taken photos of all as yet.. they are great to feed and watch, awesome for our near on 5 year old who is fascinated with tidal life 8)
  21. I reckon 2 x 2400's on the big tank... we run 2 on our Fronny tank and they crank it.
