  2. Here you go, damn bossy NZKA members ..... mutter mutter mutter Merry Christmas!
  3. Did you get a tan as well?
  4. Nothing you have to worry about, Sophia! She Who Must Be Obeyed
  5. Good tanks are not built in a day - or a few weeks, or months for that matter. Stick with it, it will be worth it in the end, a bit of care and attention now saves for heaps of changes later.
  6. Awwww... it's so compact - I want one! My E leopard looks like the other one you have. So, you going to clone it and rename it as E leopard 'kiwi' or 'petite' and sell it
  7. Hmmm... contemplates sticking bow in a fish for a pic..... Nahhhhhh.... Very cute Nymox - I have had to shake the kitten out of the tree several times already and he has already attempted to denude the fairy of her wings :-? Compliments of the season to everyone - and remember last year you said that you would be more organised for this year? :nilly: Well it's too late now!
  8. Dang - too late now, busy upgrading the forums and looking at posts here is soooooo distracting, so I don't log in much.
  9. Dammit - I think she is winking at me....
  10. You will need to sort that Kinbote out or I will have to remove the images, thanks.
  11. I have an AquaStart 320 (21l) with Mosquito rasboras in a blackwater setup - should go and take some pictures of it actually, but it will have to be an night as there are too many reflections during the day. Setup as follows: Sponge filter with cut down airflow Peat substrate, about 20 - 30mm depending on where it is in the tank Oak leaves and Indian almond leaves - crushed sitting on top of peat Driftwood with narrow leaf java fern attached Tinfoil over parts of the light to stop it reaching every corner of the tank - it is brightest over the plant 10 Boraras brigittae Whole bunch of daphnia - the big ones won't fit in the fish's mouths but the little ones disappear after a while The tank you have would probably be too small for Colisa laila - they are terribly territorial and if you manage to get a pair she will spend all her time hiding from a beating. Corydoras pygmaeus are neat, especially in a large group, but are horribly expensive. They would go well with something else in the tank like Celestial Pearl Danios, but there again, these things seem to spend all their time hiding as well as looking hunched up! There, I have probably confused you more now!
  12. Oh - your a gonner for sure! Dammit - that chihuahua makes me smile every time I see it...
  13. Oh yeah... 'salvation à la mode and a cup of tea...' Locomotive Breath - Jethro Tull
  14. You don't have to sign up if you don't want to... Smidey - for you:
  15. Err isn't that Twitter, in 140 characters or less - we have one of those as well  *waits for Alan to ask what that is as well*
  16. Oh yes you can -our Nicole is still Nicole not Nikki or Cole and Juliet is Juliet not Julie, Maxine on the other hand gets called all sorts of things :-? There are many occasions where a person is referred to by their christian name and surname - not just when calling the roll at school, but on most written correspondence and legal documents. Most unfortunate combinations are usually picked up verbally though by peers, or when the christian name gets truncated. Combinations that spring to mind are Theresa Green and Richard Brace.
  17. Haven't checked how sharp it is lately, it has been gathering a bit of dust since people have been behaving themselves. Knives, on the other hand I am always interested in...
  18. Actually, there are four of you in the Plant Committee, so that should be... :nilly: :nilly:
  19. Oh no no no no no, don't think you Plant Committee people are going to get off that easy - about time you started making a concerted effort to collect photos and start collating relevant data for the plant pages. You can start by requesting images and info from members by making your own post in this section, then we can look at putting them up. Otherwise your annual report at the AGM is going to look pretty thin, and me chasing you with the pointy stick is going to be the least of your worries :nilly:
  20. The Great Gig in the Sky - Pink Floyd
  21. Might let you have a go at that after the upgrade - heaven help you if you break the site, though
