Why would it have been heat treated?

Oil burners produce water and CO2 so that will help the plants to get carbon and will increase the humidity. Just make sure that it gets enough O2 or you will kill yourself with carbon monoxide. I used to move them to the lounge under four flourescent tubes.

Just built a small glasshouse and grew them in individual pots for Echinodorus sp. and larger ones for stem plants. brought them all inside during winter under artificial light as not worth heating the glasshouse.

There are no albino that I have seen and there are green but they are a greeny blue.

I got a few baby ones in a previous life while hooking blackworms out of a river. Since they were there pigging out on the blackworms I figured that would be good food for them. Kept them alive for a couple of years until a string of hot norwesters killed them off with theat. They are interesting to watch as they cling to the sides of the tank like sucking cats.

It seems to me that with fish it is user pays actual and reasonable costs and costs have gone up in the last 5 years. Tourists don't need to pay for fish quarantine and your figures are not the same as ours.

You could put a green terror in there and see who wins. There is little point in posting on here if you are going to ignore all the good advice given by more experienced people than you. If you know better than them there would be no need to ask questions on here.

We have the biosecurity (costs) regulations 2010 schedule and the proposed new charges, which I am sure you also have.

I am just trying to get the correct facts because if the federation makes a submission and says the fees have all gone up by whatever percent and they actually have not then the submission is going to be ignored. The information provided to us does not show that the fees will go up by that much so I am looking for where you get your figures from.

Why is fresh water increase only half of marine increase. 15% or 30% is not doubling fees---that would be 100%

Are all your inspections carried out by vets at the moment or is this a new proposal? Is the inspection at the airport done by vets and is that included as half of the two inspections that are carried out for each shipment?

Algae is often encouraged by an excess of phosphates over nitrates.

Adding too much fertilizer to the water column without strong light and CO2 may cause algae blooms.

The sag may have been grown emersed if propagated by a commercial grower. If so they will come back if they have a healthy root system.

To make a useful submission one needs facts that can be verified. Emotion will not cut it.

It works for all lizards apart from tuataras. They don't have the hemipenes you are looking for.

I bought some that I had to cut in half to get in the car but that is Christchurch. They must be around.
