Nice work indeed. What woods have you used? I used to do a bit of woodwork also until the shakes threw the machinery everywhere and it is now hidden under a pile of reptiles.
Watch it carefully. It is not always easy to tell the difference between a true fungus around the mouth and "mouth fungus" which is bacterial and could infect other fish.
Might I throw out the idea that if mom don't like frogs croaking it would be best to think of another pet. A happy frog is a croaky frog and an angry mom you don't really need.
I understand the original breeder looked into exporting to the USA and they were happy to take them but wanted a 5000 shipment. Hope that wasn't just a sample.
Snailrid is copper sulphate and is deadly to some fish. This is why most shops have stopped selling it (too many dead fish) and it sounds like it has been withdrawn. Grandad use to treat whitespot with a penny (when they were copper) and would remove it when the snails left the water.
Most people look at them and think they are cute but they can be one of the nastiest birds I have bred. They will fight to the death over territory, mating rights and anything else they can think of.
