  1. Pics on it's way to you Might post it up on here to but will have to get my Bous to show me how it's done  Or once you receive it you can post it on here if you like Saves me a Job
  2. We made the Stand and Lid out of the 18mm MDF Lid holds 4 Fluro Bulbs.
  3. No Worries I can send you a pic if you want me too??
  4. WOW That is one BIGGG Tank Wonder how many Litres that Holds, wouldn't want to be on a Metered Water system now would ya
  5. Hubby, made mine out of 18mm MDF, we had 2 pieces of the 18mm MDF glued together at the sides, Front and Back of the Stand, then had it Lacquered in Black Gloss, looked fantastic when it was finished.
  6. I've decided to leave the Spray Bar where it is at them moment, which it running through the top of where the Tank Inbuilt Filter is, if I just pop the airstone tubing into the Outlet pipe, that should have the same effect, shouldn't it, without having to move the spray bar into the Tank??
  7. Looks Great Dixon Cant wait to see a Photo of it Full
  8. Aha, I see what you mean Will be easy enough to do this, will sort it when I get home from work.
  9. Darkfur: I did think maybe it had something to do with the Higher Temps that Discus are kept in, I'm sure marine Fishys aren't kept in Temps of 29-30. Thanks for the Idea with the Airstone darkfur, I have it right down now, will see how that goes. Phoenix: I dont run the Spray Bar in the Tank, I run it through the lid where the Inbuilt Tank Filter would normally be running through. I have the Spray Bar attached to the Canister Filter.
  10. No Internal Filter phoenix, just running the CF1200
  11. OK, I've popped an Airstone in my Discus Tank, as it was thought maybe they are breathing fast because of the lack of Oxygen  Hmm  They're not at all Happy about this, all they have done over the last 2 days is hide at the back of the Tank Everytime they see something move now, they seem to FREAK OUT and swim around the Tank like Crazy hitting into things  Will they get used to it or do you guys think I should remove it? Is there a need for an Airstone, when I'm doing 3 x 70% Water Changes a week?? Not sure if that's a Dumb Question or not

I would say, If it's on a Level Surface you should be fine without the Poly, If I dont have Poly to pop under a Tank I always use a Towel folded up several times or Cardboard underneath the Tank.
  13. I have seen a few of these being used in the Pet Shop Tank's, so I assume they cant be too bad Personally I do wonder just how accurate they would be, I guess the best way of testing them would be to put one on your Tank see what it reads then do a proper PH Test with a PH Test Kit. I don't think anything will give you a reading as accurate as the Test Kits themselves.
  14. Hope all goes well with Calypso's operation tomorrow My thoughts will be with you both tomorrow morning
  15. I have a Aquaone CF1200 I run Eheim Subatrate Pro which is apparently Sintered Quartz, in the bottom 2 Trays Then I have Carbon with Filter Wool in the Top Tray, I dont use carbon all the time, so when not using the Carbon, I just fill the Top Tray with Filter Wool. Great wee Filters, I have 2 of these, 1 on my Discus Tank and 1 on my Community Tank.
  16. WOW Really, so how long have you had this Wrasse? Obviously they change colour with age
