Are you still continuing to use the Furan2?? I would strongly advise you complete the Course. Hopefully that will sort out what ever the problem maybe.

Maybe a good idea to change the Tank around, then they will all be on equal ground if you know what I mean. Do you have a heater in the Tank?? I would up the Temp to round 28, add some Rock Salt and some Wunder Tonic, just to make sure these wounds some of the Fishys have don't turned Fugused. What are the Parameters of your Tank??

I used to keep Silver Dollars in with my Gold and Green Severums Just remember they will become Territorial as they get older, My Golds did, so Territorial that one Gold chased the other Gold into a Rock and Killed it The one that died was my Favourtie If your wanting to go Silver Dollars I wouldn't bother about Plants they will mow them down in NO Time.

Always good to have a Hospital Tank of about 40 Ltrs, Most of the meds we use will be for around the 40 Ltr mark, like the Furan2 you used, alot easier than having to estimate the amount of Meds to pop into a Tank because its not the correct amount of Litres. I use an Old Tank that I was no longer using, marked on it with Permanant Marker the 40 Ltr Mark, in 10 Litre increments, so know I no exactly how much I have taken out when it comes time to do a Water Change and how much I need to put back into the Tank to make up the 40 Litres again. Are you using the Complete Course of Furan2?? I guess you will just have to wait untill the morning to see if Mr Fishy is going to be ok. Good Luck

This is the reason we shouldn't mix Meds, we don't know the full extent of whats in them. The Temp in Jennas Tank was turned down not up.

I got 2 Royals today along with 2 Red Whiptails such a Fascinating Wee Fish. Will try them on Pumpkin and Carrot, do you cook these Veges for them or do you pop them in Raw??

To be honest with you I wouldn't have mixed the Furan 2 with the Wonder Tonic, I only ever use 1 medication at a time along with abit of Salt. I would say the outlook is not looking Good, He maybe hanging around the Top of the Tank because of lack of Oxygen, do you have an Air Stone in the Hospital Tank. What Temp do you have the Tank on? I usually turn the Temp up abit when treating with meds.

Sometimes they loose their Colouring when they are stressed. Is there anything else in the Tank that could be picking on it??

I've just some research on Minnows, Temp should be 18-22 Danios ideal Temp is between 18-24 So I would be removing the Mussel And popping a heater into the Tank with the remaining Fish you have.

A Tropical Fish is as it says "A Tropical Fish" it doesn't matter where you live, these Fish still NEED a Heater. I really don't understand why you were sold these Fish as Coldwater because they most certainly are not. I would be going back to the Petshop you bought them from, and asking for a refund on some of the Fish, put the Refund Money towards buying a much needed Heater. Really think abit more research should have been done before setting up your Tank, there's a lot more to Keeping Fish than filling up a Tank and adding some Fish. Your Tank should have been cycled also,before adding the amount of Fish that have been added in such a short amount of time. Maybe head to the Beginners Section on here and have a read through some of the Beginners Posts.
