Hey Gannet, I had a look around for the Lion King DVD, I also asked the Kids, who by the way tell me they are way to old for The Lion King now :lol: They also tell me we had it on Video not DVD, mow I think about it they're probably right. I Could pop a couple of Guppies into the Quarantine Tank with the New Discus for a while and see how they go before introducing the rest of them.

OK Ron Will Quaratine him in the New Tank that I set Up, then slowly introduce the Guppys out of the Hospital Tank they are in now, after 4 weeks.

Apparently this Discus belongs to a Customer of the Petshop. She took the Blue Turk into him as she had lost her other 2 Discus, from what she said was the Water Supply down in Manakau. I would have thought if the other 2 Discus had Died of something else, then surely this one would have died too by now , he's probably been there about a month or more now. He looks Pretty Healthy to me, he's rather a Big Fella. That's the reason I would pop him in a Tank on his own, I don't want to be infecting my Discus if there IS something wrong with him.

Will have a look when I get home, I'm sure I have a copy floating round some where

Hmmm :oops: Now this maybe abit of a stupid question, but I'm going to ask it anyway :roll: Has anyone ever had Guppies in with Discus, they have this poor lost lonely Blue Turk at the pet shop here, I have bought a New Tank and Stand for what was going to be my Guppy Tank, thought maybe I could pop this Blue Turk in the Tank along with the Guppies. I'm sure he would be good at keeping the Ever Increasing Guppy Population down with thinning out the Fry I have Neons in my Exsisting Discus Tank and the Discus dont bother them, so thought Neons and Guppies are of a similar size so maybe I could pop them in together.

Took me a good month to get hold of some Metro. I finally have a good supply now so if anyone is up poo creek without a paddle PM me I might be able to help you out. Ended up getting 100 Tablets, but the Expiry Date on them is 2010, not sure I'm going to use all of them before 2010, would rather not see them go to waste, after all the hassle I had to go through to get them. Combination of Foods, Water Quality etc... Discus need regular Water Changes I do 3 x 70% Water Changes on my Discus Tank a Week. Discus can release a Hormone that stunts the other Fish, all to do with being the Biggest and Strongest of the Bunch I guess, hence the several Water Changes per Week.

I just ran mine around the back of the lift up lid, if you lift up the Lid there should be a lip towards the back of the Lid, I ran the Foam right along the that Lip.

Swordtails are very good jumpers tooooooo :roll: Found one had jumped out of the bucket I had them in while acclimatising them to go into their new Tank, he had flip flopped all the way across the garage and was found all dried up under my Car

If your asking me about the Powerhead that come with the Tank, then no I've taken all of that out, just running the CF1200.
