Have to admit it's so much easier than making up a new mix every few days

I got my 2 Whiptails from Bubble and Squeak a wee while ago, Popped 1 into my Small Community Tank and 1 into my Discus Tank. I see the one in the Discus Tank regularly, but I'm beginning to think I've lost the one in the other Tank, haven't seen him round for ages :roll: Normally they just feed on the Algae in the Tank and anything I feed the Bottom Feeders, like Spirulina Discs etc.

Yea I would definitely do that, better get in Super Quick before some-one beats you to it :lol:

Thought of what?? Freezing them or Hatching Less but more often

Have picked up the Big Discus from the Petshop here :bounce: He seems to be in Beautiful Condition, and has settled in well :bounce:

Have you thought about popping them into an Ice Cube Maker and freezing them, I'm not sure if the Nutritional Value will be the same if they are Frozen, I cant see that it will make any difference to be quite honest with you. I used to do this when I was breeding Angels :bounce:

Have to agree a Magnifying Glass is a great Tool at a time like this, I did the same thing with my Angel Eggs, amasing just how much more you can see through a good magnifying Glass. I wouldn't worry about the tails being pale in colour, they will colour up as they get older :bounce: Sounds like Dad is doing a Great Job Hope you get them to the Free Swimming stage :bounce:

My Tap stores the Water for me, I have Discus too, not sure if you could use Water straight out of the Tap that would depend on the Quality of your Water I guess. Alot of people use the Big Round Barrels to store their Water, think you can buy them from RD1 or somewhere like Farmlands. I wouldn't think the Plastic smell would effect the Fish in anyway, unless something has leached out of the Plastic.

I had a Keyhole with this recently, the eye ending up popping, after doing 50% water changes everyday, hoping that would help him, he died about 2 weeks after it popped. You could try Furan2 but to be honest I think you would be wasting your time.
