  2. I have 3 Aqua One's, an AR 980, AR620T and a AR620 Haven' had any problems with any of these tanks, the only thing I have changed is the in built filter, have removed the in built and put an Aqua One CF1200 external filter on each tank. Would certainly recommend the Aqua One range.
  3. The pics in that link look shocking Here's hoping your Pleco doesn't get that bad, maybe Furan 2 might be worth a try, I know it's an antibiotic and they don't usually work on something viral, but I guess it's worth a try. Good Luck Lynda
  4. Wow, looks interesting, certainly feel for the owner of the dairy, poor guy

  11. Are you talking about Cyanobacteria F15hguy?? You can treat this with Eurothromycin which is an antibiotic.

  14. Yes, it is a mixed tank, I do have a spare tank I can pop the fry into if I need to strip the mum. Thanks for your answer, I thought $200 was reasonable, I got a price from animates the other day, man $65 for one Dem
  15. Hi Guys and Girls I've been on the lookout for some Dem's for sometime now and not having much luck untill now I have no idea if these are worth what the guy is asking for them, But I'm very tempted, he is shutting down his 550Ltr and going with Marine Fish instead. Here's the link : http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =505460212 Any thoughts on price would be great Just a thought, I may be happy to split the colony if anyone is interested in the other half of it, not sure I have room for all of them as I have some fish on the way.
  16. Hmmm Strange looking things alright, look like big fat slugs.
  17. When it came to re carpeting our old house, I didn't want to move my 350 Ltr Tank so the Carpet Layers cut around it, laid the new carpet upto the tank and we kept the piece that would have gone under the tank. When it come time to move to the house that we built, once the fish tank was moved into the new place, we got the carpet layers back to lay the piece where the Fish Tank had been, worked a treat. Good Luck Lynda
