F15hguy Posted October 19, 2012 Report Share Posted October 19, 2012 Terminal velocity is determined by air friction.... up higher less air, less friction.... he was at about the max speed he could do without burning up.... also if he had stuck an arm out wrong he may have started a flat spin which would have torn him limb from limb.
