  1. Boy talk, blue talk, moto talk, blahblah bla.... *right ova my head...LOL but who cares?! I want one too, those cars are just TOO Cute!! :bounce:
  2. Wow! where did you ever see Kuda that big?! were they yours? But I agree, that tank is definitely too short for any seahorses, except maybe true dwarves which are not available here in NZ... On SH.org they recommend for kuda minimum size 15 gallons (60 liters) and an additional 8 gallons (30 liters) per pair Sounds like you've got better plans for your current tank anyhow... Good luck!

  4. OMG! what a timewaster thanks! I think...
  5. LOL, like the title says... C'mon, post some pics And just curious, what have you been feeding them?
  6. Here is DonnaM's lovely dog Milo.... LOL, I just realised, i got so carried away posting pics of my dog I forgot to say WHY he has his name... The Barnacle. I brought him home when we were still living on our boat and hubby was not too pleased & a barnacle is something you don't really want growing on your boat! Haha, it took all of 5 minutes for him to soften up and cave in to my puppy though :bounce: who is now 11! A baby Barnacle:
  7. I was just travelling back north from Ruapehu & swear I saw that van! Or perhaps there are a few zebra-mobiles running around the country? It would be fun to see a zebra muster/ rally
  8. I am loving those pics of the weedfish... now that would be cool to spot in the wild! 8) but think am gonna need a prescription dive-mask soon :-? $25K? they must have a lot of mouths to feed! Aren't some of us so fortunate to be able to go shrimpin/fishing? just got back from a shrimpin...and Brrr!
  9. Awe heck, I never word things quite right.... don't take it so personally LA My comments were really geared toward the inexperienced unequipped hobbiest, ya know??? So many people just "grab" things... seee something; ooooh cool, pretty... let's take it home.... and it dies shortly afterwards because of no study or preparation. I just think that is a waste. Sure, hobbiests & studied experts all have losses, but I think a person should do their best to give the animal a fair chance. Of course, if one has adequate tank size and can meet feeding requirements I agree it is no different than seahorses! That is just my humble opinion. I have had SH's only a small number of years and they were captive bred. I doubt I'd ever have the confidence or could make the effort to try keeping/training wild ones (never mind the legality!)
  10. Wow, that is so cool! yayayyay :bounce: another confirmation It was Not just a dream It might not be illegal, but how about immoral?! It would very challenging for the average hobbiest to keep a wild seadragon alive; I personally think it would be terrible to cause the death of such a special creature, especially since their numbers must be so low... Heck, They don't even exist here, right I 'm not too worried.. I doubt you'd find one anyway. I spend an awful lot of time in the water and only had the 1 glimpse... I seem to be lucky that way... spotted wild Kiwi many times... (the feathered ones, not the party animal variety wild kiwi)
  11. Apparently, someone in Hong Kong has been breeding leafies and weedies & exporting them to the UK... gotta have a big tank & chiller though! Yay Ant!!!! I am so glad to hear I am not the only person to have seen one here. I don't think anyone believed me and wastold they only exist in Oz & I was even starting to doubt myself, LOL "was it just a dream?" ...What I saw I would compare to a Weedy Seadragon, not a LeafySD...
  12. Ughhhhh 1 day of respite, and now it is flooding all over again...
  13. wow, those are some great pics! Thanks! hubby is down there right now, but never bothers to take pics  & I think he got the timing wrong for this trip! looks like the 2nd storm has arrived early.... up north here anyway... more flooding!! aaack
  14. I find it difficult to believe anyone actually believews that kind of $#@! and would pass it on... especially a business person... Perhaps Tankgirl has a needs to update their antivirus software and has mailed out to their complete address book unbeknownst? however, I do have friends that no matter how many times I plead with them NOT to, still pass on supertstitious junk chain mail grrr!!!!
