man i want one so badly but the cost is so immense! this guy imports them trying to sell me aaa+ grades for 6 grand and ones costing 3 to 5 grand also too much money for a fish but so nice!

yeah im wanting 3 aros in there, now im unsure the jadinii is rather aggressive towards large fish. anything smaller that cant fit in its mouth but doesnt seem to be a threat to food, it does not care for, but when i put larger silver dollars in there, it harasses them, nothin too serious but enough to make the silver dollars not as active. but - theory is that if you put enough big fish, the jar cannot harass them all enough, so it should be ok:D well, theory, asking over seas forums with jar comm tanks and aro comms to see if they had any experience. was thinking 2 silvers, one jar, and ther large fish in there. or myb een 3 silvers one jar the tank is big enough i think

yes all glas i dont think there s any perspex. but yes, rather large. very open to big fish! i really like the idea of aro comm tanks

yeah, but p[acus take ages to get ver 80 cms:D its ok, ill enjoy them till then. it took mine 2.5yrs to get to 55cm this tank has a foot on that tank, once theyreach that size, growth is slower:)ill give it a go if i ca find a pacu but its not easy finding one, petshops dont sell them anymore

its large well, what ill do then is just leave it there for months see how we go i mean i have months, and the tank i just purchased comes iwth 4 massive pieces, one apprently 4 foot long warren said. so if those are nice then ill just use those but htis one really adds character. if it doesnt sink then its ok ll cut my losses and put it in the garden:D or ill consider tying weights to it:D

well im just sinking it right nowafter a couple of months, ill try the boiling water thing, i have 6 months so in conclusion, it can take a crap load of time

well i wont need the wood for 6 months at least so ill leave it there for a few months to keep absorbing the water. and let all the tannin come out its a huge piece,

Hi there have a piece of wood, it was driftwood once, but sun has dried it quite a bit. so now it floats, is a nice piece. i have weighted it down and submerged it in watr completely. just wondering how long will it take to fully absord and sink? or any quicker way of doing it?

im going to africa next year march:D should be awesome! yeah, i like the way animals hunt. even as small as geckos. i like how they catch flies and eat worms. different methods of eating etc. its my thing:D apparently so is B Grade movie making:)

well its a bigger tank alot biggr than the other 8fter but i am still thinking what, definately gotta hav aros in there. was thinkin 3 aroa, silvers or maybe mixng 2 aros and my jardinii,and lots of other fish, dont know what will happen though. im still thinking, asking people over seas with jaridinii experience and stuff too. but pacu, silverdollars and spotted mytenis and redhook metyni to collect the whole set. ten iant gourami. silver aros, jaguar cichlid?appolo shark, pink tc, borneo tiger, couple ofbichirs maybe ill have to see what else suggestions welcome:)

hahaha yes indeed getting it shipped from napier where warren is and sent to me in auckland i still deemed it viable in term sof cost doing so. its a nice tank. i forgot who that guy was that does comm aro tank shere if you read this, let me know want more info

id get acacondas and give it steroids, i mean actual steroids to make it extra aggressive and big and what i woul do is somehow strap weights to it, so it gets huge jus tlike in tha tmovie then i would send a hispanic woman in there and a black man, and make a movie

put other fish in there like a giant gourami or arowana or silver dollars or oscar something similar and big it should spread out aggresion but at times fish will target their own if so, then sell it to me:D

well, all in all it cost me 20 bux its feels orry money i refused to pay i said that i only pay when i receive it form him, it felt dodgy anyways. when delivered i had the cash ready but instead it was cracked, so i called him after speaking to glass repariers, one fish tank guy said it would cost roughly 150-200 to fix, plus gotta put braces otherwise he will never guarantee or say its safe, so probably looking at 250 or just a little below. so i told the guy to come pick it up. he was pissed but so was i after receiving a useless tank but i offered to pay 20 for his petrol, but not for anything else 20 isnt much but i consider that to be a costly lesson now im just looking for either a new one, same length or a second hand that i can know the quality is good with some proper insurance:) once bitten 1 and a half shy
