Ohh no the kick stand has come out, its not looking good

Its looking worse than I had origanialy thought. Eyes look slightly sunken in, missing a few scales and more than one bite mark on it. Its in by it self now so time will tell. I removed the last of the yellows from the tank the other day so I suspect its some sort of reestablishment of the tank hieracy, when I put it back in I will remove everything, change the lay out and have my fingers crossed. Other than a little bit of chasing/fin niping this is the first real damage I have seen in the Frontosa colony

Salt was my first thought, and the more likely medication. It was the breathing aspect that I was unsure about with the salt

I just noticed I have a beatn down front, I will get it in to a hospital tank once I ask this question. Do I need to add anything to the water or let it recover by it self? It has an obvious bite mark around its head and eye region, other than that no external injuries. Its currently breathing heavily around the bottom of the tank, but it hasnt thrown out the kick stand yet so is still fine to hold it self up.

There is other reasons to go to weddings? Ohhh wait yeah there is it involves lonely bridesmaids/friends :dnc1: :thup:

Okay, so final decision has been made. I am going to use the longer one for the aro and the shorter as the planted tank. 1st question, what filtration should I be going with for the Arowana tank sump, fx5, Aquaone 2700 or a combination of them? The canister I dont use on this will be used for the planted tank.I know my stock wil get big and I will need a bigger tank so if I use a sump I will transfer it over when I go with a bigger tank. 2nd question, What stocking is possible? My thoughts are Black Arowana, Jack Dempsey x1, Jaguar x1, Albino Tiger Oscar x1, Tiger Oscar x1, Clown Loach x10 (maybe), fire eel x1, Bichir x1(of some type), Urau x1 and some plecos ( I would like some advice/help on selection of these as I am currently undecided. I would love a midas in there and there is another but the name has left me for now( will try remember and add it into it), but am unsure if these two would be ok. I will be getting the fish, young and small to grow up together and not be making much if any changes to stock if I can help it. Ideas, advice, criticism.... fire away please. (for a change I am pre planning a tank its kinda weird)

I dont know if this is helpful or not, but a mate of mines tank has the bracing across the top like normal and it also has 2 bits of steel cut to size that goes over the bracing that grips to the top of the tank. they look kinda like ] over the top.
