Yeh I have, it was still running the powerhead part to the internal so I figured leaving the end catridges wouldnt make any diffrence.

I have taken all the fish out of this now. I got my pressuerised c02 yesterday so I thought while I dont know what I am doing I will take them out. I have 2 questions. with out the fish do I need a filter for the plants or do they only need flow not flow and filtration. Secondly do I turn the co2 on before the lights, with the lights or run it 24/7? Thank you

I am swaying away from them at this stage, they would be going in my flatmates tank so A) would hate for them to eat his fish and B) he is moving out soon so I will need to find a tank for them, and I dont have anything of a suitable size hanging about at the moement

Also think about Foot print over literage.( is that a word). 500L in a high and narrow tank may not be so ideal to a wide, long 500L -

I prefer to hold things like paper, thats why I still get all my bills sent in the mail not by email.I still buy dvds and cds and stuff like that as well. Fingers crossed somebody fills your boots
