  1. Looking good dude, though instead of wasting $80 on a crap test kit spend a little more and buy decent ones like salifert or red sea pro kits.
  2. A 3cm krib is actually a pretty good size for a shop to be selling in my opinion. Would probably be around 6 months old.
  3. That colour typing hurts my eyes and makes it hard to read what you said lol. Hollywood fish farm were advertising some.
  4. First pic looks to be a sponge of some type. Second pic looks like a starfish if that is what you are referring to?
  5. Yip, time for a water change to bring them back down.
  6. Are you adding water conditioner when you do a water change??
  7. It's the one coral in my tank that just won't grow. Had the same 5 heads for over a year now.
  8. Same here, but I think you're confusing his yellow polyps with them?
  9. Just keep cycling it, will probably even help with all the ammonia in the pee lol.
  10. Syringe with a needle comes in handy for when that happens.
  11. Who said old dogs can't learn new tricks :slfg:

    ram gender?

All resemble males to me, with the middle one being the only one I'm not 100% on.
  13. I would rather pay the extra and get one of the wp range off fish-street.com, more controllable and probably better quality.
  14. What is the backing paper made out of? Cooking oil works great and is easy to get any bubbles out of and makes it easy to change/remove.
  15. :cophot: What's in the internal filters?
  16. How long has the tank been setup for?
  17. I take it Adrienne means 86ppm. Not hard to figure out.
  18. What are you using as a diffuser?
  19. You will hardly ever see your apistos if you get some in there lol. If you do I recommend cacatouides as they're probably the biggest, less timid and most colourful that we get here. Discus........ Wild discus........
  20. Give them a clean maybe every couple of months.
  21. Hello, good to see another southerner on here, I have kept many planted tanks over the years so if you want any advice from a local feel free to send me a pm.
  22. Fair enough but why are you using canister filters? They're generally not used on marine tanks as they quickly become nitrate factories, unless you're planning on cleaning them every week? Also when people do run canisters on reef tanks they usually take out all the media and fill them with live rock rubble for the extra biological filtration. Your skimmer should pretty much be your only form of mechanical filtration that you will need.
