Heater is at 25 degrees what would I do to stop that?

Hey will try get better picture tomorrow for you. Yup fish still eating and swimming around as it normally would. I can't see any difference in behavior.

Yeah I don't think so either. Another pink/red spot has appeared further up his body towards his head over the past week. I just have no idea what to do to fix it :dunno:

Could anyone please help me find out what problem I have with my fish? PH = 7.2 Ammonia = 0ppm Nitrite = 0ppm Nirate = 5.0 ppm Filter = Yes Heated = Yes Water Change = Every Thursday Tank mates = No Size Tank = 16L I have been told it might be fin rot or Columnaris if anyone could confirm what it is that would be great thanks.

my temps are at like 25degrees at the moment but on a hot day my room might reach over 30degrees. Do you guys have fans for your tanks?

Ah must have been guppies then. I think mine were pretty small I will try find bigger ones next time. Thanks for the extra info. Looking at trying shrimps with my Columbian Tetra and Kribensis Ciclid anyone had experience with these?

Okay thanks guys I think I will stick to just buying plants from stores to be safe and grow it myself. I swear I saw a local fish store selling those mosquito fish like a month ago. might be wrong tho but they looked like them. Blueether whats a gron?

Hey Thanks those links they will come in handy! I think I will just buy the oxygen weed from a pet store and try grow it in a water barrel in the backyard. Also are Gambusia (Mosquito Fish) legal or illegal to own? lakes down the road have thousands wouldn't mind having some as a pet if I am allowed to.

Hey Thanks guys I went out hunting for some tonight (in the rain) found few behind the zoo in Auckland. I only got 4 Shrimp but my girlfriends Betta decided they were food... :an!gry Going to get more to try in my other 3 tanks (different types of fish in each 1). Is 25degrees safe for shrimp? Also I saw alot of Oxygen weed in the streams would that be safe for fish tanks? And I think there may have been some java moss in the stream would that be safe too?

Does anyone know where I can find Freshwater Shrimp in Auckland? I live in Henderson so closest spot would be best. Thanks
