    i'm with ya on that one. my one is looking pretty neglected at the moment, and the fish have white spot. i think my daughter and i will give it a clean up this weekend. rada rada. my other two tanks have nothing but stone and rock and i never have algae issues, ever.

    all reptiles have different personalities and will have different quirks. you'll get used to them. if you start to think that something is really wrong with him jump on here and start a thread, people will be happy to help.

    my buddy has a couple of huge ones in his 1200, i'll try remember take a pic next time i'm there. he doesn't take pics of his tank, not very tech savvy. one of those fish cowboys... you know the ones ...

    vegetarians are the plants worst enemies. meat eaters are doing the environment a favour. plants take bad gasses and give us oxygen in return, animals take our oxygen and turn it into ozone depleting gasses. more vegetarians = less plants. less plants = less oxygen for us. more meat eaters = less animals. less animals = more oxygen and more ozone for us. think about it. plants are friends. cows are bad. eat meat, not plants.

    aside from cats and plecos, most of the SA fish that will be ok on their own are either gonna get too big, such as a knife fish would, or eat all your other fish, such as a leaf fish would.

    actually jesus specifically said that everything in the old testament was still valid and to be adhered to by his followers. christians just made up a story that jesus nullified the old testament as an excuse to break most of the rules in it and stick only to the ones they want to.

    despite cutting funding to IHC, selling nz owned assets, lowering tax for the rich, discriminating and financially punishing people with diseases, keeping cannabis illegal and all the other stupid stuff they do.... the passing the reading of the gay marriage bill made me relived to know that there might actually be some intellectual and reasonable people in our government.
