I am getting used to the new Photobucket. Has some good and bad points but I pay a small amount for a premium account so get unlimited pics and no advertising. I can drag and drop, make albums, upload multiple pics, and it only takes 3 clicks to upload. It also gives me all the urls and says which is which. We are just old and don't like change :-?

My husband can probably find local wetas, he has brought home old skins that have been shed so I assume he could catch something still in its skin. I will try and remember to ask. That is a cool looking weta! I didn't know we had such colourful species here. newbiefishcpl they are beautiful. I actually like the colours and patterns on cockroaches too.

He is 13. Don't worry about it, she will be fine. She may decide it is too cold at this time of year and reabsorb, or expel, the eggs. She may also stay nice and fat for months.

If it is temporary, you have a lot of plants and plenty of filtration they should cope. Goldfish are very messy eaters and produce a lot of waste. Regular water changes will be a must.

I could not tell from the video but if a fish is ill it can over-produce the slime coat so appear odd. Constipation could account for the swelling so perhaps it is unwell due to constipation?

We have had a generator stored here. It was needed at one of their sites but one of the wheels has a problem and it is not road worthy so unable to be towed anywhere. To get it out, they hiab'd it out then flew it to the site by helicopter. It came back today so I took pics of them getting it back in place (until it can be fixed). It is amazing how far out those arms can go! The truck can't get up much further due to a bend in the driveway (we are up a back section)

You won't have any idea what it was without a thorough dissection - which is unlikely. It could be any number of things, including one of them being whacked a little hard with the net when being caught, or being injured in some way during the process of catching, bagging, transporting.

A quicker way is to pour a bit of vinegar on the rock. If it fizzes, don't use it, unless you want the pH to go up. -

I was talking to a lady last night who said her dad was never the same after returning from the war and it ruined his life. He would never talk about it, got severe depression and became an alcoholic as a result. It is sobering to realise how young they were - some only 15. A lot of the fighter pilots, and ground forces, were still teenagers when they died for their country. We will remember them.

Good also to see the angels getting to know each other on top of the tank How safe are these stands in a quake? With no cross bracing, surely they will go sideways and collapse or are the cupboards enough? :gpo2: :nfs:

Heat the room A dehumidifier will get rid of moisture. Good lids on the tanks will also help Have you considered what you are going to do with all the offspring?

I have found blackout works well for cyano but it must be a total blackout and don't feed the fish during this time either. The plants will cope with it for that short a time. Whether it comes back again depends on the cause which, as said, needs to be corrected.

aaannndddd... most importantly, 31 July is St Neot's Day. He is apparently the patron saint of fish! Perhaps we ought to hold a St Neot's Day competition and get members to post their fish related stuff on the day - be it baking (cooking fish or fish shaped goodies), art, craft etc.
