I think you will find you have a girl. When viewed from above, girls are a bit wider (or a lot wider) and appear slightly 'out of line' on one side. This is because they produce eggs on one side at a time (like humans) so will stick out on one side more than the other at most times. At this time of year they are getting ready to spawn so I suspect she is full of eggs.
That's my theory and I'm sticking to it

Grant was parade co-ordinator so was in the front cop car directing road closures, speed etc.
Grant says it is a young triffid and be careful to wear glasses when you are near it
I sent the pics to my dad (a gardener) and he has no idea what it is.
It is very pretty though isn't it? I gather the majority of the plant is underwater with just a few stems growing emersed?
Grant and I had dinner at The Mud Castle in Upper Moutere last weekend. This is one of the bathrooms...
I noticed one of the fish had carp pox but another had a tumour-like growth on its head. I have never seen anything like it. It appeared otherwise happy and healthy. Anyone seen a growth like this?
Those fish are often kept in "cold" tanks because they can cope with cooler temperatures but are not truly cold water fish. They need to be at 18C at least or higher.
Not sure when Stella's book is due out. Printing is being organised at the moment I believe.
I am at work so can't measure the ones I used. The tank on them is 4ft x 2 x 2 (I still work in feet and inches when it comes to tanks) umm that's 1.2m x 60cm x 60cm.
