if i have a decent amount of sand and planted in sag or dwarf sag and maybe something else can the little loaches still get into the sand??
thanks ive got great ideas for my tank now.
i would love a saltwater tank, but even i realise how much work goes into it. i put alot of work into my freshy so i can imagine all the time spent. one say i will have one and will have it set up for 3 months before i add fish number one! i cant believe they sold them a tank and fish at same time. my fish shop wouldnt even do that with freshies i bought my tank and was told to come back in a couple of weeks to get a couple of SMALL fish.
can someone tell me what other snails there are
mystery snails (got 2)
trumpet snails (got 5)
red ramshorn snails (got 5)
is there any other interesting fascinating snails?
i dont mind if they eat plants, im thinking about doing a non planted tanks with rocks etc.
thanks.

my idea of estuary would be a tank with land for crabs to get out on and have like a low and high tide.
one rock pool would be cool, how would i do that though?
i read on here someone made a saltwater tank with an esturay, sounds amazing, how do i do it, ?
i would love to "make" rock pools, ? any ideas??
can i make these tropical? or should they be coldwater?
livingart, that is HUGE, id freak out and run a mile if i saw that. im fine with nursery webs, id love a pet one of those, but alas, hubby said we have too many pets as it is. im trying to work on him to get a small salty tank running.
sorry i forgot what they were called. ( school holidays + 4 kids (2-6yrs) = frazzled mummy)

do nemos get very big?
can i have a saltwater tank without coral etc?
what are saltwater schooling fish?
how do i make an estuary system?
id love a tank full of plecos and cats, but dont have a tank large enough. how do they go with fighting fish?
ur photos look awesome.
will have to get a HUGE tank one day as i know they grow massive and id hate to give mine away coz the tank is too small.
i was going to have the sand and i was going to be "different" and plant my plants in little terracotta pots. i would love some sag and othe stuff, but going to have a tiger lotus in it in the sand and thought that would shade out the little plants and my light isnt that strong.
i planned to have about 6 of them.
thanks. it wont get sucked up my intake pipe for my filter. my fighting fish male has finally got the idea of staying away from it.
