Rugby is our national game but I only like to watch the All blacks, however I would much rather much an elite game of Ice Hockey (my fav sport). What is your favourite sport?

Gutted. Trips like that would be awesome. I went to Australia last year with my school hockey team, last game we played I got hit in the face by the ball (rock hard btw). Smashed one tooth right out, pushed 2 teeth up and back into my palate ripping the top of my mouth, huge swelling. Had a heap of anaesthetic (like 15 shots I think), and had $1500 in a couple of hours done. Insurance only covered stuff overseas, so when I came back my parents had to fork out about $2000 on root canals etc = not funny. Lesson here; make sure you get FULL coverage.

Bro, arowanas dont like strong flow too much, especially blacks and silvers, when they are bigger its less of an issue. Plus, parrots are retarded fish, it will get blown around the tank :lol: If you want a cool river effect slope the gravel from one side to the other, use rocks and spindly driftwood at the shallow end, leave the deeper part clear, simulate a half cross-section of the river. Just a thought.

Well, i haven't been grabbing them, I have stroked them before but they tend to be quite skittish.

yeah, vicious vampiric guppy's, not to be underestimated. Nah, bichirs are awesome to touch, in my old tank which was not as tall, i would put my hand on the bottom with some food in it and the bichirs would swim onto me and eat the food. It was actually really cool, the only bichirs that get the real dentures are the lower jaws and we cant get them here.

I think henward the guru has pretty much summed it up: Small fish ok in 270L for a while, produces big waste, need good filtration, will need a larger tank within about a year depending on growth.

270L will last you a little while, they need a bigger setup - 400L for 1 I guess.

I have a 700L and I wish I could go bigger for my jar.
