  1. Buy it Henward, your conscience is saying yes.
  2. Nah, had a rounded face, was about a foot long.
  3. Hey! I work at Maccas and our sauce is Perfectly seasoned and the coke is "ice cold", good analogy David.
  4. $500, dont know if it was brought in.
  5. Anyone keen on an Asian aro , its face looked a little strange though?
  6. Will decomposing leaves create deteriorating water quality? ammonia?
  7. Holy smokes thats expenisve IMO, dead leaves?? Ok thanks Stella I will keep that in mind.
  8. I want to put quite a bit of dry leaves into my tank for a tannin effect, and for the comfort of my bichirs. I could wait until Autumn I suppose and then run around collecting them off the ground, but I was wondering if it is possible to buy them or if another option exists? Also, which leaves would be the best for this? I would like large leaves and so far I am under the impression that oak leaves and indian almond leaves (don't know where to get these) are the most likely choices. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forum ... 10&page=26 This is something similar to what i want to achieve, the tank in question is near the bottom of the page. Thanks guys.
  9. As title says. I was thinking along the lines of bloodworms or something, does the food need to be live?
  10. ^^this That'll be your JDM style tank preference coming through there Henward, I reckon they need larger tanks than that to be comfortable.
  11. ^^ LOL Go to singapore aquarium and then say that.
  12. Not like human teeth, but can do some serious damage, I have seen photos showing stitching
  13. Put an electrical cord into the tank with power on, give em a little shock, works SUPER effective, the fish will not move AT ALL  :nilly:
  14. Water temp varies, I originally found them in geothermal area so the water was obviously kept quite warm, put them into a pond where it would have been cooler, however the warm weather will have increased the temp in there substantially - small pond. Pretty sure the shops were selling goldens. So I should leave them in there to morph over summer? One of them only has 1 eye, a birth defect I think, its kind of cool actually.
  15. Well, many of the ones that morph in the stores tend to be around 4-5cm in length, the ones I have i'd say are around 8-10cm, substantially bigger than others. So if they have prolonged morphing when should I expect them to complete the transformation, they already have decent legs?
  16. Got a couple of taddies growing out in a small pond, had them since August and they still haven't morphed :-? only have developed back legs. Anyway, they are the biggest taddies I've seen, much larger than any offered in stores, any ideas? growth problem?
  17. I get the TFH magazine which is actually a great thing to get, gives you something to look forward to each month. This last month they showed the top 10 aquadesign tanks of the year, the winners was absolutely amazing, he created a forested effect by actually cutting up bits of different sized tree and making a wooded forest theme, planting around the bases of the trees - a perfect scene from above land underwater.
  18. ^^ what he said, background/gravel will be the greatest influence on colour.
  19. Bro, you should get that red if it doesn't pass $2500 I reckon: @ henward.
