  1. Blue base red crossback arowana is the best morph, gold is nice but I would rather have the deep red aros. Not a fan of the 'king' shape of asain aros, very unnatural and looks bad.
  2. Fruju

    Buzzys Reef

Love it! Looks almost futuristic IMO, get a marine betta, would look mint in there.
  3. I live near northcross intermediate. Henward lives in torbay too, we visit each other often, your welcome to come visit my stuff if you're interested.
  4. Butterflyfish are awesome! Your mum will change her mind after watching them Buenos Aires tetras or emperor tetras are great, I would go for those over neons any day. Diamond tetras are good too.
  5. ^^ Yup boring tank I think too. Sterile and false environment, natural look beats all - makes aros look better too.
  6. Congo tetras? Oh yeah! African butterfly fish are super cool.
  7. Best things for a 400L are bichirs CKs get way too big, pacu are too big for everything, aros outgrow it.... I agree with a previous comment - JAGUAR CICHLID = WIN. Best badass fish for that tank no issue.
  8. Less cichlids. Or maybe have one male to a harem of females? Ask someone who knows their cichlids on here. Hatchet fish are cool, maybe whiptail cats? Darker substrate is nicer IMO, el natural look is a winner too. I hate fake plants etc, too tacky. If you go to HFF albany they have a tank similar to what you have I think all set up, could inspire you?
  9. Both nice. Red is best though, oh wait! Henwards got one lol
  10. Auckland (north shore mainly) is the best! Good fish stores + nicer weather (except for right now) + Im biased like everyone else. You should go down to christchurch, you have guaranteed work in an unstable economic climate.
  11. massivore beats all other foods in bulking up fish hands down, firm believer after seeing it work 1st hand.
  12. 20! Shot Stu! I am at 9 right now, may get an albino senegal to get every variant sorted. I will need to setup a little photo tank to take pics of the dels and the palmas, the biggest del on massivore makes the skinny palmas look tiny lol
  13. All goods!! Everyone share your new awesome fish :sml1: Henward if you tattoo a fish on your back I will dis-own you...
  14. I will try to sort pics out soon, might need to put them all in viewing tank. Atm dels and palmas growing in sump. Dels and palmas are 2-4inch, sens are around 8inch, ornate at 16inch+. Doing a tank revamp since I am still not happy with the look, focusing on my bichirs, flagtail and ebjds.
  15. Thanks to HFF I now own 3 senegalus, 1 Ornate, 3 delhezis and the proud owner of 2 new Palmas Polli!!!!! Woohoo! waited so long for these! Thanks Stu from HFF and Henward for the heads up! Massivore for these guys to grow up big and strong :slfg:
  16. Haha! Good call! Its a pretty yuck burger tbh, had to try it though. :slfg:
  17. Do whatever henward tells you to do His RTG is FAT! healthy fat though, no people Im not encouraging obesity.
  18. Shark tank; large enough to responsibly keep 1 requiem, few benthics, ray and some snapper
  19. I believe I saw Altums in HFF Albany many years ago, only came in once, gone very quickly, definately not regular shaped angels.
  20. Pretty common, easy to find usually.
  21. Your into your dead stuff aye LA :roey:
  22. Eat em, if you hallucinate don't do it again :dunno:
  23. Doesn't raise ammonia unless there is dead stuff rotting on the coral?
