  1. EEEEEELLL!!! it came out, never comes out when Im at yours. What camera btw? Sort of thing I'd like to get.
  2. Its an epic tank; the guy is disabled and funded this project out of his life's savings. Heaps of stuff on mfk about it, been around for a while now. Has Arapaima in it  :nfs:
  3. Thats because your weird henward.
  4. That one there is a platinum silver - I think it sold in singapore for excess of 200,000 pounds. High shines are different, they possess a phosphore gene within the scales, but not to the extent of the platinum, however they come across significantly shinier and brighter than a regular silver but are very hard to find even in an overseas market. If you go on mfk now there is a recent post in the aro section of a xanthic silver aro! Looks amazing! Completely bright yellow! Other colour forms exist such as leucism, albinism (there has been asian aros with this), melanism etc but the possibility of finding an aro with one of these traits here is pretty much zip.
  5. What?? No bichirs in your list? Get bichirs, delhezis or senegals for the 980, ornates get too big. you could do 3-4. Kuhli loaches will get eaten by ctenopomas. Best stocklist IMO. Ctenopomas 2-3 pantadons small school of congos 3-4 bichirs and maybe a pair of kribs congos and kribs have to be a certain size depending how big the bichirs are.
  6. Nice essay. My minimal research tends to be similar to henwards. Have a chat to 'Koji' on MFK- legit.
  7. Tank wouldn't look very nice if it was darker IMO.
  8. Yeah, I have seen a silver without drop eye, and one with near none. I used to own one with a little drop eye in only one eye as well, I think a nice silver aro is a top aquarium fish. Some on mfk are beautiful, but I do think the high shines have the best appearance 8) they are so bright.
  9. I would ask for evidence 1st, no guarantees otherwise.
  10. Henward... haha, self control :sage:
  11. Probably just a random pic, its possible it could be high shine but unlikely. LA had a high shine right?
  12. I prefer the reds to the gold aros, deep red colour xback aro with a blue base giving it a metal sheen, looks a million $$
  13. Greens are nice, wish I had seen David's green in person. Didn't think much of the greens in bird barn recently, stunted and poor shape. I would go green aro before anything else I think, but my interest in silvers was rekindled, they are nice fish if kept in pristine condition with minimal drop eye.
  14. Yeah, me too. Aros will have to wait.
  15. Gotta say those are cool even though I'm not usually a fan of angels.
  16. Yes! Aros are not happy in 6ftrs. 1200L min. Henwards tank is ideal, wide and long - aro tank.
  17. Get Koura. Crayfish are pretty sweet. Some are blue.
  18. Observing my dels, putting on weight like yours did, feed your aro massivore! you weren't lying!
  19. Definately needs to grow into its colour. Nice shape already but will be worth the money once it gets the deep red look - the current stock is the best you have had IMO, will be interesting to see how it develops.
  20. Oscar will SMASH a small aro, better to have slightly bigger aro IMO. Jardini however will hold its own quite well against something of a similar size at about 4inches. Kept my old one with a festae, constant stand offs, but no harm done until about 20cmish. Your tank will not be big enough with all those other fish in there.
  21. I would say male, looks like the dorsal fin tip has been munched though.
  22. Oi! Post pics of it Disgustipated! I want to see what he looks like now :smln:
