Ordered some in just the other day, and it came a lot faster than I expected! expensive plant at 16 bucks each but well worth it. Its going to go in my african tank that ive got planned - but will take a long time to set up right.

Hey all, Ive got adobe CS4 and i dont really know how to use it I have a picture of this fish, but the glass has 2 waters stains on it, and I need them gone! lol how can i remove the water stain? I can't just take another pic of the fish, cause its an older picture from a tank that is at my parent's place, and not here with me in palmy. Thanks.

id imagine it would stay viable for a while. not sure though. erm.. can the leaves be grown out of the water. cause i just cut about 12 - 15 palm sized leaves cause they were hogging up all the light :-? ; and I was wondering if they would be happy out of the water. -

34 L tank and pH down? don't use it.. ask for your money back. just do water changes and your oh will gradually stabilise. 7.8 is not a bad pH, but if you desire it lower, try using peat instead... also available from pet shops.. for about $2 - $3 max.

good advice as said above. use some stress coat too if you have some. it is very very effective, and helps heaps in such cases in my experience. best of luck, and do let us know how the treatment progresses.

I saw a red split tail over here... I dont know much about bettas apart from the normal amount - so when i saw it i put it in quarantine cause i thought it was injured :lol: 2 days later I figured it out :oops: go me. lol

oh not those ones, lol. they were bought as pairs. I didnt order them :lol: stopped getting females cause they sat there until I bought them :lol: (8 - 10 dollars each I think, much cheaper than 150 for2)

:lol: I didn't realise there was a female betta shortage in wellington! when they come into the palmy store it takes about 3-4 weeks for about a dozen to sell! (Not counting the ones that I take home).

I know what you mean. In 6th form I bred slaters for a biology assignment, as the school only had a few and then by the end of it i actually didn't want to give them to other people cause i wasn't sure if they would take care of them like I did ha ha lol. :lol:
