  1. sure they do, but I don't think they will appreciate 30 deg C
  2. put some rummy noses in the tank. they make good dither fish
  3. I would say 12mm base - thicker the better and 10mm sides, 12mm off cuts for bracing.
  4. protectionism, never has been, and never will be a way to safe guard businesses and or economies. any how, im signing off this debate, as I don't own any chain store. I just get a little tired of hearing about horribly high prices, when at the end of the day consumer behaviour dictates prices - the business would not exist the products/services were overpriced.
  5. yes but everyone seems to hate the chain stores that provide more employment, pay more taxes, feed more families and provide more of a stimulus to the local economy than any other little shop. maybe chain stores should just cease to exist - then lets see who likes paying the hundreds of thousands of dollars in quarantine costs cause suppliers will just not import any more fish.
  6. the second one is what the 05 uses. most of the fluval parts are interchangeable - so maybe it will work fine?
  7. curved blade impeller? they should have no problems sourcing them seeing as fluval has a 10 year parts retention guarantee... (or is that eheim?) well any how... its easy as to source. if they are having too much trouble finding one let me know and ill dig around.
  8. yes. although if fuel efficiency is important to you, the hilux is probably not what you are after. although im sure it will run on anything you can put down that fuel tank

  20. naah you wait for the babies to hatch completely. then after 2 days or so the egg sac will disappear, and then you can feed them. i usually feed babies egg yolk for the first couple of days or liquifry or something that easy, and then move onto brine shrimp or daphnia. just make sure you clean the tank if you use egg yolk - it can be messy (boil an egg and use a tiny amount of the yolk).
  21. oh no. I give it a year before they too hit the threatened species list if they are already not on there
