2x2x2? yeh that will be fine. they like sand. they like digging holes. decoy pits. and then then lay eggs in one of the pits. sometimes they pretend to defend a decoy pit to fool predators (i am not a predator, but it was funny to see). the males like flaring. they uproot everything too.

I would leave them to it. Firemouths are among the best parents out there. Its a true spectacle to see hundreds of fry with the parents!!

that will be quite similar to the blue planet ones, so if you need ideas rock on to a shop and have a nosey at how they work. I think the major difference is that yours is a vertical design, and theirs a horizontal.

well it is a game in that it uses virtual money, and the stock prices are 15 minutes delayed. you can choose to use real money, but I prefer trading FX on Oanda instead of playing with stocks (its US based, but you can buy/sell foreign US listed stocks and ADR's). It is now called Kaching I think... I can send you an invite if you like. You can only trade when the markets are open in the States. Buy course you can place orders on stock when the markets open. I personally am a speculator, so this current environment is not too good for me with most stocks experiencing positive growth :lol:

Noooo!! I personally like the 18000K tubes. make the tank look nicer, plants grow really well, but they are expensive. the 6500K and 10000K tubes are the most commonly used ones, but i personally don't like that colour much.

go to a normal non fishy shop and buy $5 tubes. they will suffice. i don't think axy's need UV?

first change the starters, cause they are cheap as. get them from mitre 10 or an electronic store instead of your LFS and you will save a fair bit. if your tubes are a very dark grey/black at the ends, you may need to change the tubes too.
