  4. you could use the hob motor at the start to prime the u-tube but you will need to turn it off quickly and block your outlet tube when you do this until the you tube is full

  15. some of the online stores can sell cheaper as they dont have the overheads that an actual lfs have but in the case of petmart who knows i bet its the same price in their actual shop too with a price like that why would ya go elsewhere considering postage will be less than $20 aneway . i also remember pet pit stop having cf1200s for $135 when i asked them about that they said they had to buy a pallet load to get them cheap enough to sell at that price
  16. i used to have a small skate about 11cm across in with seahorses (nz coldwater marine though) its a pity about the freshwater 1s some of them are amazing

  20. when i brought fish from you and had them shipped although the box was not marked with live fish the company knew as they rung my boss as as i them delivered to my work and the courier run didnt go out to there until 4.30 pm they just wanted to check if that was ok or else have somebody pick them up
  21. ive heard keeping it in the fridge can help i tend to just keep mine on top of the glass lids under the metal halide in saying that my idea of buying in bulk is 250g of tetra cichlid for $40 and that dosent last long enough to go off aneway

  23. from what i know about them they are particuarly sensitive to water conditions also copper in the water coupling that with being a messy eater a large tank is a must with a very tight fitting lid
