Both are correct.
It has a very wide effective dosage range. I did two doses of 200mg per 100L I think when I did mine. I bet one dose would have been enough, it all looked dead within an hour or so.
I think a bunch of computer fans is an expensive, inefficient way of doing it if you can use a desk fan from the warehouse for a fraction of the price that blows FAR more air.
It's generally as hard as keeping a tropical marine tank, plus you need a chiller which will cost about $1000. Look in the saltwater forum.

T12s are the big ones, T8s are the middle size ones, T5s are the little ones.
You're not likely to find t12s though. I have a couple in the spider shed off my carport, but I think they've been there since the 1970s...
I've never seen them orange. They're whatever color the food they're eating is. Usually green.

My blog:
01/11/09: Fed my fish. Black shark wiggled at the glass.
02/11/09: Fed my fish. Black shark wiggled at the glass again. Danios were chasing each other
03/11/09: Fed my fish a piece of zuchinni. Black shark ate it. Danios chased some more.
04/11/09: Didn't feed the fish. Did a water change.
05/11/09: Fed my fish. Black shark wiggled at the glass.
