Thanks phoenix, I will do. I usually flea the cats but i think this time it got away on me!

Tis the season for fleas and my house is now crawling with them. We have fleaed the cats and i swear the carpet is still moving. Since they cant bite the cats they are now starting on the humans. We need to get rid of them, otherwise we will die from blood loss. Can anyone suggest anything?? If I use a flea bomb what do I do with the fish??

Oh spoon sounds like you know alot about cichlids...

i am looking at keeping cichlids.... any size tank i need to start with? can i mix breeds? are there any that are easier than others?? sorry for all the questions, but i wanna get it right!

so there is: Lake Malawi Mbuna Cichlids Lake Malawi Peacock Cichlids Lake Tanganyika Cichlids Lake Victoria Cichlids plus a few others....can i mix between types? or is this a huge no-no??? also what size tank am i needing to look at getting?

not really sure yet. any particular one that would be better? i have always wanted them, they look amazing. i quite like the look of the electric yellow ones. i am just starting my research now, i am aware that there is different types...

i am looking to getting some more fish.....i would like to get into cichlids and i was just wondering if i could have my pleco in with them? i am quite attached to him and wonder if they would be ok together?

RIP Bud. Hope you enjoy being up there with all the other birds and getting up to all the antics you used to do down here. Thinking of you Caryl. I know its not easy to loose an animal, fur or feather child. You did the right thing. Can't keep them alive just because we want them to be. Bud would want you to be happy in your choice, and he will be watching from above! Hopefully you'll have heaps of fun with your new bird. I know this one wont fill the gap that Bud has left behind but it will help a bit.

they never ever lower the price before easter...or any holiday for that matter. look at the price of strawberries on the 22nd or 23rd of dec,then look at them on the 24th! im one supermarket they went from $1.99 on the 23rd to $3.49 on the 24th!! rip off.... but people still buy them. Just wait until after easter....thats when its cheap! ....And did you know that all the easter eggs that we will be consuming this easter have actually been made between August last year and now.....

went to vets yesterday... was conjunctivitis and the cloudy patching where ulcers where he had been rubbing and scratching cos he had itchy eyes. is on eye drops now and seems much better! thanks for all the advice

no he is all alone, cant go with other rabbits cos he makes them pregnant!!
