I feel silly asking this on here but its late at night and I dont have anyone else to ask.... Yesterday I found a lump on my neck, just below my jaw on my neck. It hurts to touch. Ive done a little research on the net and its a lymph node called superficial cervical lymph node. Has anyone had something similar?? im a little worried....

you do find the odd vet out there who will treat them. when i had my last possum, i knew a vet that was ok with treating her for me. but its all "keep it to yourself".

yes ive had a pet one before. she was wonderful. loved her to bits. a real character. wouldnt hesitate in having another. my last one grew up with 2 cats and she was convinced she was one too. it was funny, and very cute. yes they do eat a heap of fruit. plums with red flesh seemed to be her favourite. they have their breeding season in spring and autumn. so june/july there should be a reasonable sized one out there. I'll get my partner and his mates to go out and shoot some possums. that'l probably be the best answer

oh suger gliders.....yeah that would be great!!! i wouldnt mind a pet bat actually! kids?? meaning do i have any? no i dont yet...not for a while anyways...maybe i am subtituting animals for kids....who knows

Ive had chinchillas before. Ive had pretty much every animal that you can have in NZ. I was moving around alot a few years ago which didnt able me to keep my animals. I have since stopped moving and am settled in 1 place. Maybe i should do the chinchilla thing again. I was thinking rabbits. I do want something that I can cuddle and pat. preferably with fur. i love fish put you cant pat them!!

hmm thats definately food for thought! its good to get ideas from others because you seem to stick to the usual animals for pets and not think outside the square.

as long as it takes....its entire life. the only animal we cant have is a dog (the house we are in doesnt allow them) Im not just getting another animal because I'm bored of the ones I have.

this is actually normal. i have a cat who at the age of 4 still suckles. anything furry, whether it be a possum tail and furry cushion, they all get suckled. I also used to have a kitten that I homed at the age of 3 weeks and he suckled everything (including ear lobes, weirdest thing to wake up to in the night I tell you!) It is a sign of being weened too early but its also a comfort thing, very much like when they pad your lap/bed when they are happy. It shouldnt bother the other kitten, infact it will help them bond for life. again good on you for getting you kittens from the SPCA. every new kitten deserves a chance at life.

Lots and lots of photo blocks. Ive got lots of different photos, ranging from leopards, meerkats, tarser, frogs, fish, anemones and many more. I decided to put the things I love into photos for others to enjoy. Is anyone out there interested in buying some of these? They are $5 each I am only charging to cover the cost of the materials i.e paint, photo printing, glue and wood. I would love to continue to do this, but I must sell what I have so I can produce more! Do keep looking. My beautiful bengal went missing for over 2 weeks. I was convinced I was never to see her again, then we found her about 5 minutes walk from home. They are nosey cats, but he wont be too far away, remember not only are they nosey but also smart. Dont give up, keep looking and calling. I went out every night for the whole time she was gone. I even went out during the day. Not likely to come out during the day but I knew if she heard me calling she would realise that I wasnt far away and I hadnt forgotten about her. Hate to say it but it is good to prepare for the worst. It makes it slightly easier if the worst does happen and makes it over a million times better when your baby comes home! Keep us informed. Thinking good thoughts for you

oh my goodness!! how bad am I with my dates... haven't had a day off in ages, 1 day melts into another! Glad the BBQ went well. Id love to be president but don't think that would be the best place to start, but maybe some other position would be better suited for me.

Good to know you do things like this. I might pop over if I can get my saturday sorted. Do you know if.... A new president for Tasman club been arranged yet? or is this whole thing still in limbo?
