Oh my lord!!! I have been hunting and found a place to rent. Its $400 per week, 4 bedrooms, huge dining room and lounge...in a nice quiet street (no squashed animals...yay) backyard deck etc.... should i go for it???

yeah tell me about it spoon. ive got a fatty that eats for 3 (no seriously) and a smelly. both do nothing and i mean NOTHING!!!!!! its driving me and my boyfriend nuts!

yeah we would love to buy, but neither of us have enough savings and it will be our first flat together. all the other places with have lived with others, so its gonna be the test of "us" just being us 2 in the flat. Wouldnt wanna buy and then it go wrong aye....not that it will, but its good to make sure :lol:

My partner and I are wanting to move into a place of our own soon (yay finally!!) When any of you were flat/house hunting where was the best place to start? Ive been looking on Trade Me and Real Estate websites most of them state no pets (cant live without my babies) or their bond is half and arm and leg!!!! Any ideas ppl??? :bounce:

I look after kids during the week and I have a 4 year old who LOVES animals. Is there anyone out there in the NELSON REGION who has friendly farm animals? anything like sheep, pigs, cows, horses, ponies? or even cats and dogs? she has 1 cat at home, so i thought it would be good for her to interact with other animals. :bounce: Can anyone help me? :bounce: I was thinking about taking her to Natureland, but I thought there might be someone out there who would be happy to help Please let me know asap Thanks

Thanks for that. I was thinking that nail place in the mall would be a bit of competition, but ive heard its in and out and nothing that a proper customer/client needs. proper attention and care (no offence to other places)

Today Ive been looking at personal loans from banks and unless I am earning $25,000 a year and have regular $$ going into my account I cant get a loan at all... Also.... Does anyone know where (if anywhere) there would be a list of scholarships that I might be able to apply for? Again any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Ive got a Bengal and if you know anything about Bengals you will know that they talk alot!! I travelled from Whakatane to Nelson with her. Didnt knock her out, just covered her with a blanket and when she talked to me I talked back so she knew I was there and she was pretty calm. I got told its not worth knocking your cat out to travel, it can cause all sorts of problems. If anything use feliaway (can get it from the vets) its a calming spray (dont know if i spelt it right). The kittens will cope fine. As long as they know you are there, they will be fine. If they talk (or meow) to you just do it back. It might sound silly but it worked for me!

I havent gone out in months whether it be dinner or out drinking. Not even buying takeaways. I walk whenever I can to save $$ on petrol, ive pretty much given up anything I could without it being life threatening. Im sure theres something else I could cut back on. I do live in a flat with 4 guys. 1 of them eats for 2-3 people every meal, i swear, its not lie!!! He doesnt pay any extra. Would it be such a silly thing to start buying my own food once a week to save money?? Theres only 4 in each class and they run 3 or 4 a year, They dont always fill all the spots either. Not everyone if from Nelson either. Creative doesnt do their courses in many places. When I am quailified I can work from a salon or home. I would work in a salon for 12 or so months then take up work from home.

its learning how to do all of it. at the end i am a qualified nail technician and i can work from home or go and work in a salon or beauty salon. its not just the course, you get a whole starter pack which enables you to do approx 60 sets of nails and lots of other things. plus your exam.

Course i am considering is one for the Creative Nail Course. Just a snip at $3000 for a 9 day course....OUCH! Wouldnt even know what scholarship would pay for that (some if not all)

I am trying to save to do a course and I was wondering if anyone has any great ideas in helping make some money. Even if its just a few $$ at a time. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I didnt go until just before. Since i started this post my lump went down but I got real sick (stupid flu) all the other things I had (dizzines, not sleeping etc) are due to the flu I have. So all in all I didnt have anything to worry about Thank goodness! Thanks for asking!

geeee.....it must be nice to have parents/grandparents that will pay for very over priced & expensive things for your school ball. i NEVER had any of that, if i wanted it i had to pay for it and even then expensive things were NOT an option.

yes i have my tonsils. i have had swollen tonsils before so i know what thats all about. I will go to bed early and have a good rest. If i am still worried or anything changes on by monday i will do something about it. Your help is greatly appreciated...it helps, i wont worry as much! i hate finding things that arent right...i managed to diagnose my appendicitis before i got to the hospital (just in time might i add) so after that things like this worry me. sorry...

I really appreciate your advice, and i know its hard to make a blind diagnosis, but it does help to have someone give you some advice...
