  2. We have been given until the 2nd of november to move out of our current flat and we are having trouble finding a new place to live. we have been going through the newspaper here in Nelson everyday and the buy sell swap each week to no avail. We have also just recently discovered that I am pregnant so we need a place that isnt full of mould (yes there was one of those!) too cold, no storage or no pets (we have a bengal cat) Does anyone know of a place where we can live or atleast know someone who is moving out and they need someone to move in etc. We are not being picky, but each place has something thats not right, no heating, or mould or not bath or no pets... we need atleast 2 bedrooms perferably a bath as well as a shower some sort of heating wood burner or heatpump etc a small garden or lawn safe place for a cat thats not so clued up with cars sometimes so not on a main road somewhere where we can have 2 cars possibly a garage (can apparently live without!) please we do really need some help so any options will be considered! Thanks
  3. I have to adult rabbits approx 18 months old, male one is grey, the female is white grey tan. They come with their seperate cages. He lives in a smallish cage, she has a rather large cage so when she has a litter they have room to run around in! She has had 2 litters of kits and is a great mum. My partner and I need to move (see the other topic!) so unfortunately they need to go I would prefer that they go together. And when I say for sale i mean like $50 for the whole lot. I just need them to go to a good home! Can anyone help please?

  6. wow this has created some interest! i do appreciated all the advice. I dont want to stay here, have been wanting to go for a while now, its just finding a suitable place, but after lastnight, i think any place will do. What was here is now gone, and asked to never return. I showed the person in question the info on the police website about various penilaties and charges, and he took it a little more seriously. but im still going....i aint staying here! i dont need anyone to help ruin my life thanks very much!
  7. no. this is serious. should of been here just now, massive arguement. Its pretty scary when your a 50kg women sitting in the lounge with 2 men 80kg and 140kg yelling and screaming and swearing at each other. 1 of them saying he doesnt give a toss about it, doesnt care that the house smells, doesnt care if anyone gets done etc etc....what a tool....and thats the nicest thing i could say about him!!
  8. Im in the middle of an argument with my flatmates and i thought someone on here would know or have experienced this. My flatmate thinks he knows all (this has to stop!) What ive been told: You can get diversion for your first offence eg: minor assult etc etc but.... Would you get diversion if your house got busted for cannabis? If it was your first offence? What if you had an amount in your house that was considered enough to be for supply? And what about the people living in the house? It sounds like you could get 6 months - 3 years in jail and or $500 fine.... Also if there are firearms in the house (all registered and has firearms license) would these be confiscated too? Can someone shed some light on this please?
  9. good to know. i just wanted to know because mum has them in her backyard all the time and she asked me if i knew how to tell the difference!
  10. Hi people I am wanting to know how to tell male and female fantail birds apart. Anyone know? Thanks
  11. yeah, ive had a couple of days to think about this, and it seems i have sufficent evidence, i have talk to my mum about it, and she seems to think that there is. I will be ringing my regional tomorrow (on a sunday, oh joy, she will love me!) to break the news. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! this is the 3rd place i have worked at that has had company theft...omg do i know how to pick them or what! its also hard cos this person is a valued team member and has a high-ish position.
  12. I cant really say much as all of this is coming to light, but no-one really knows much about me or my job and where i work... so.... I am the manager of where I work so I am having to deal with this - thats why I am asking for advice. - it is stock from the store that is being theived. - it is a retail environment. - it has possibly been happening over a period of approx 2 years (the staff memeber has been with us for 2 years) - I believe I have substantial evidence of who it is and the stock missing help... I am not having much fun thinking about this, it an awful feeling that 1 of your staff members that you trust is taking from the store and making me look stupid.
  13. yeah i do know about the way this has to be done, what to do and what not to do. but i would like to know if you do get caught and charged what happens? - Fine - Jail time - Community service also if you do have a criminal conviction for theft, does it stop you from going to any countries in particular? thanks
  14. please people....this is very important... i am trawling through the net and i cant find anything about penalities for theft as a servant and i NEED TO KNOW!
  15. i need this info pretty quick please... where can i find the info about theft as a public servant and also the penalities and consequences of doing this?? also any info about the penalities and consequences of being caught shoplifting. this is much appreciated!!

  18. seems to be ok, but they charge like $40 - $50 per hour for each job, i dont think theres enough money here where we live...even though the marketing is taken care of i still dont think its the best plan for her money
  19. thank you for your answers, yes there is always some people who have to add their bit... anyways..my friend was thinking of buying into a franchise and after a bit of research that ive done i dont think she should do it, it would be a silly and probably stupid idea, best way to loose money id say!!!
  20. Hi, doing a little bit of research for a friend. I am after a simple YES or NO from you, I am not after your opinions or views on this subject at this time, it is merely some research! If you had the money would you use this service? A company that did all your errands and jobs for you. For example: Taking your car for a warrant Doing your weekly food shopping Buying gifts and wrapping Pets to the vet Etc etc Please just a Yes or No. Much appreciated!
  21. bombs done...fish alive....flies dead....hopefully fleas dead too!!
  22. u'll find flea eggs can live in the carpet for up to 3 years. all they need is human to start walking around on the carpet or the room that the eggs are in and they will start hatching. They are smart little buggers!
  23. good to hear im not the only one with an issue. i thought it was just me! oh well, now i know!
  24. thanks for that jenniferh. i have been using frontline, but then this happened..... both the cats have been dosed twice in less than 2 months and they are still getting bitten, they cant stop scratching and they are just not happy kitties. so flea bomb it will be and i will be going back to advantage this time round.
