  1. yeah no, dont mind at all! that could work out well
  2. where do they get their electric blue from? just out of curiosity as i'm a bit scheptical it is natural until proven otherwise
  3. well yes, but the other tank has a few too many inhabitants for that, plus brichardi(or daffodili if there are some around) i have a soft spot for them and theyre much cheaper than tropheous being a poor student and all I was thinking 6 or 8 julii from youngins, and 12 or so young brichardi?
  4. How would brichardi and julii's go if lots of rockwork and right ratios?
  5. oh cool we can get moliro in nz? sounds more expensive than duboisi
  6. ooo, what tropheus can we get for a reasonable price in nz?
  7. good to hear You are all being most helpful and such a wealth of knowledge between yourselves
  8. well i have an empty 300L and dont know what to put in it, have another tank with e.yellow demasoni and peacocks so dont want things like that. Maybe tangs for something different. Any species and numbers suggestions?
  9. Yeah Ernie is great, apart from being a cheeky little sod haha but he is all good Hmm so many good tank ideas
  10. ah cool, and theyre ok size wise etc? and enough moss and what not they may get down and busy with some fry surviving?
  11. haha no i will resist more tanks so i dont end up with 10 or whatever i used to have. Are there compatable species that can have males and females in a tank ie the 300L without too much risk of cross breeding?
  12. well to start my story i have a 300L tank and someone suggested doing a killi display tank which caught my fancy as killi's are one of the sorts i havnt dealt with in my fish keeping experience, so it sounds like a cool idea to me. the second part of the story is i have a few months before the 300L gets set up, and a nice 4 ft tank with i divider, ie 2 2ft tanks doing nothing which might be a good opportunity to breed some to put in the 300L apart from joining the killi fish assosciation which is a given, any suggestions on the best way to go about setting up the 2 fts for this and also species suggestions? Cheers Ahh good to be back on this site
  13. ooo some nice suggestions, the reason for not wanting too heavily planted was dont have too much spare time so wanting something relatively easy care, as opposed to my last planted tank which was a pain as it grew too well and forever trimming and what not. oooo didnt think of killifish, if someone can give me a bit more info on setting one up and or people to talk to to get hold of killies without spending a large fortune that could be cool
