  8. Just be glad you aren't at Riverhead!!! i have done quite a bit of XC racing at Riverhead in the winter and it gets seriously bad. Woodhill is sand based, Redwoods (my Fav) in clay base, but honestly, Riverhead is mud based! Some mud puddles are seriously up to your hips. I don't know how many times I had to clear the mud buildup between my wheel and my seat stays in one race, as there was so much mud!

    Miracle Mud

well I suppose the question is why the Algae grows better when in a miracle mud tank as you fullas say... Obviously the miracle mud is suppling nutrients to the macro algae?
  10. Im not talking about corals coming into the country, Im talking about all corals. Most corals in my tank for example, grew from frags from other hobbiests (with the exclusion of a few of my larger LPS corals)
  11. its pretty much just fish meal isnt it? Just the leftovers of fish ground up?
  12. When you think of the damage to coal reefs as a result of the acidification of the seas and rising sea temperatures, I dont think that the aquarium trade has a big impact. Most of the corals in NZ are aquacultured too (Nowadays)
  13. the pics have been photoshopped... nice tank all the same though
  14. guess i will be getting mine in a couple of weeks then knowing Auckland Post

    FTS

Francis52... It is a pretty good deal If I may say so myself, because it includes pretty much a full pack of salifert energy food (worth $50), a pretty full bottle of reef solutions ($60) and about $100 worth of other additives... And a four stage RODI. It includes everthing but my blue linckia. Sorry for the Threadjack PP, Back on topic now
