does anyone know of any kind of flexible tubing that can be used to make some tunnels about 5-6 inches wide? i have a piece of black drainage stuff but its abit to stiff & to expensive.

dont know if its any help but i used tin foil & some wire mesh to make a shade to direct the light more towards the water instead of it lighting up the hood, seemed to work ok.

well i took it like the law was being laid down, cant help it its how i am, but if you are going to post something were you are telling people what to do then you can expect some backlash, if you can't handle the backlash then dont post something that could/will be taken the wrong way. & i dont think there was anything rude said on here about joze IMO ps its very sunny here & mincie we came down to checkout your lfs :lol:

dont know, i heard chemicals get into the plastic & can contaminate (sp) what goes in them. hey mincie whats the weather like there this morning? -
then most of use wouldn't have tanks, then the hobby would suffer. This is also my polite way of saying dont tell people what they can & cant do, if this thread was intented to help & have useful info it would have been about 2 lines worth. nice fishing by the way

sorry about to get my next one up & running, i pay my rent, the landlord doesn't bother fixing things so stuff her & i am going to enjoy my surroundings :lol:

yeah id have no problem buying them from a breeder in nz

interesting article, i think i'll just stay clear of them & $15 is alot to pay for fish that dont last long & could possibly infect your tank.

mine where straight blue, could have been females??? i have notice in the lfs that there is always atleast one thats looks skinny & sick & i wont buy them, they look great & give colour to your tank but they just dont seem to last. good luck with treating them.

i heard they were a weak strain of fish, dont know if theres any truth to it.

i had 3 of them in my tank & were active when i first got them & then the started to hide, then stopped eating & died. i had other gouramis, neons & platys so i dont know what the prob was either.

not to sure, after i put her in the other tank she went down hill so maybe i should have left her.

i dont use sprays at all, i have 3 frogs the need feeding

well she died i'll know better next time to make sure they have enough space to swim between everything without getting stuck.

well she is still alive, i thought she may have died during the nite but i'll see how she goes & decide what to do later in the day.

yeah i have a smaller tank, its planted & full of guppy fry but i'll take them out, is melafix ok for pictus cats?? i thought it would kill them.
