i asked at the fish shop the other day & was told 2 weeks, so thats what i'll be doing.

wow, thanks everyone, i had ideas of it being alot harder!! i'll wait till ive shifted house then have a go. nothing like a day out mucking round in rock pools!

i am suprised to with the changes in colour, when they are all in the same tank & 1 looks faded & the others fine, also with the difference in markings on bn fry, some are beautiful with very defined markings & others are really plain looking.

of having a tank set up with stuff from rock pools, how well do they do, anything specail needed, how do you do water changes when you dont live near the sea etc. any comments would be great thanks!

yip had treated the water before the other 3 died, everything in the tank is now dead except a redspot & GAE. been back to the lfs & told them what the fish looked like & they seem to think it was an advanced case of whitespot, not sure about the geo's though. not sure if i should just flush the 2 left or not

had 6 till today, now down to 2. they dont seem to care how many of them there are. they all find places to hide, enjoy going nuts together etc.

theres only 3 table spoons & its 180L, 3 more are dead, their skin is peeling off as the swim round.

i put in about 1/3 of the rec dose, got home from being out & 1 cat is dead, all the others are laying on the bottom gasping. been to the fish shop & have furan2 & melafix but i think its 2 late. all the cats have a fine covering of sand like stuff on them & the redspot is now twitching. i guess i will lose the whole tank

i noticed last nite my geo suri's flashing off the gravel, fins clamped & twitching like crazy, ive put salt in & turned the temp up & they looked alittle more settled this morning. ive got home from being out all day & now the bn's & pictus cats in the same tank are going nuts & all the cats are piled into 1 cave & going crazy. can anyone help?

yeah they are usually hanging around each other & are in a tank with some bn's & neons, they dont seem to like sinking food unless its the spirulina tabs.

anyone else have some of these? i now have 2 & just watched one jump up out of the water & cling onto the glass, stayed there for awhile before sliding back down

i got one of these yesterday but cant find any info on it, all of my searching on the net brings up pictures of completely different looking cats. i haven't been able to take a pic of him yet as he's abit shy. does anyone have 1 & have some pic's?

i got $70 for my 4ft x 52h x 49w but i thought it had a possible leak ( found out what had happend & it didn't, lol)

they had some brackish spotted puffers in wet pets but sold 2 while i was there & only 1 left now.

my redspot pleco has been chasing everyone in the tank for the last few weeks & most of my fish have gone into hiding, my hoplo, geo suri's & rams only come out for food. just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, the redspot is only about 10cm. not sure if its him thats cuasing everyone to hide or something else is wrong. the only thing different is i took the pictus cats out.

this sounds bad, but i tried feeding some bn fry to my suri's & they are now growing nicely in their tank!! along with the guppy fry! i also have kuhli's in there too & they dont bother them either.
