I wouldn't put them in with angels - I listed two ugly yuk angels on trademe (got them with a tank I brought) so put them into a 100ltr planted tank for the night before the new owner came to pick them up and they killed/ate my only 4 killies Talk about gutted :evil:

I brought this guy from the fish bowl in hams and I have forgotten his name - can any one help?? I think it starts with geo but I can't be sure :oops: I was told he is a peaceful tank mate for a community tank (which he has been) Sorry the pic's are blury

WELCOME :lol: I'm from whangarei but I'm currently living in wellington. I really like the fish shops up there - far better than the ones in wellys so count yourself lucky

Yea certain fish do like certain food - Not mine though they love all food haha I like the sound of the fish you have put in - I bet it looks great I don't know what the slimey stuff is but I have noticed it in my tanks too when they are first set up - my fish ate it too and they were fine so i don't think it is anything to worry about :roll: -

2-3cm? wow then all my normal bristlenoses must be girls then as mine are about 6cms and there noses couldn't be smoother

All my fish a just plain PIGGY's they act like the love freeze dried bloodworms, frozen blood worms, freeze dried tubifex, normal flake, colour bits, novo bits, white worms pretty much anything that will fit in there mouth causes a feeding frenzy. They act like its there last dinner every night I feed them

Depending on size, it could be a young male or female as they have short bristles but if they are only small I would say its a male

I have a small 6cm one and he has put marks on the sides of a dwarf gourami, mollies, small angel and a couple of others, he has now been moved into a tank with heaps of room more hidey holes and less fish and he seems much happier. So be carefull of tank mates
