algae would be a problem i would think?? I get the spotting algae on my glass which is kinda hard to get off on my tanks near windows

Yea I have two 819's too there great, I far prefer over the CF700 i have aswell. I have a eheim sitting out the back of my house that i got with a tank but can't be bothered setting it up to see what its like :oops: :lol: But I have a paper copy of the intruction etc booklet that came with it I could send it too you if you can't find anything else?? I don't think it does (but i don't know what one is??) but its so easy to start i have never had to suck on the hoses, far easier to start than my aqua one canister

so either way they will get eaten this time around?? Also do kribs look after the young like convicts do?? I have 2 week old baby convicts too, not that I had to do anything there like rabbits

I have two kribs that look like they are fanning eggs in one of my tanks, the question is when should i remove them as i would like to raise them but they will have no chance in the tank they are in.... the clown loaches are already hanging around. when i move them should i move the the ornament that that they have laid on or wait till they hatch and do i move the parents with them? thanks

I got a full set up off trademe, its only a 170ltrs with sump and all the extras, heres a pic I'm happy with it as i only paid $150 for the whole set up, it did include a fish but the little dude died but it doesn't suprise me as it took me like 5 hours to get all set up again after i got it home :oops: By the way note that the closest fish shop with marine fish is in papaparaumu and they have one tank for marines :-?

might pay to put this in the saltwater section too as alot of them probably don't look here Welcome by the way i'm just setting up my first marine tank at the moment well trying to :oops:

what type of gourami do you have?

I would try and keep some if not most of the water to help with stress

Yea i rang around all the shops in wellington, one in hamilton and a couple in auckland to see what they were priced at and $59.95 was the going rate... I got him for $45 in the end heres a pic (BAD pic)

Hi, I know this sound really stupid but I got a marine set up today its about 135ltrs with a sump etc, it has a hang on skimmer but I don't know what type it is... :oops: well the question is the skimmer came with this funny little piece of air tube with a thing on the end of it (don't know if that means its air driven?) but I don't know where to put the air tube?? can any one help me please????
