I think the golden coloured beardies are often a yellow/red and it seems to darken the yellow up and make it more gold looking. However, as stated earlier they can change their colour a lot depending on how they are feeling at the time.

I think suphew is on to it. The tank has not cycled and the fish are being poisoned with ammonia and nitrite.

What is with the black and white Lep for sale on trademe? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =340113346 Is this the first sign of mutations from a small gene pool? Stand buy for albinos.

Most drugs wont do any good if it is a virus. If it is finrot furan is the easiest to obtain antibiotic ( or acriflavine) without a visit to the vet .

I have never heard of zeolite being used as kitty litter. When I bought it it was super expensive and was an ion exchange resin used to remove calcium and magnesium from water and replace it with sodium ions (reduce the hardness)

Breed them outside. In NZ pet shops do not sell pinkies, not like overseas where people are feeding heaps of snakes and other larger reptiles. If they were available you would probably not like the price because there is such a limited market. People are pretty squeemish about feeding pinkies so many people breeding them would not want to admit to it.

Goldfish in Asia are tropicals. Tropicals in NZ are goldfish tucker. Feedback so far is not looking good. -
With Chytrid they get a light pink belly and under the legs. Frogs are very sensitive to water conditions and are a good indicater of the condition of waterways.

The drains outside food premises which discharge a lot of fat have a trap which removes the fat so it doesn't block up the drains. -

Depends a bit on temperature. They will do OK at 21-23 degrees.

Furan is the only antibiotic you can obtain without a prescription from a vet so in the end it is a cheap antibiotic. However, cheap is a relative term.
